i just download bios f10 for k3 board,emotionnn!!!
https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-ā¦v-10#support-dl
Now is here rhe F10 bios with 1072 agesaā¦
This better work properly or this board will be on ebay first thing tomorrow morning.
Well as usual this BIOS is just as piss poor as the rest, one more feature to switch off the ethernet chip, what a waste of time, goodbye gigabyte hello asrock.
Jajajajaā¦
Hold your horses fella the new firmware is significantly larger let me have a sniff around and have a look at what there is to enable/unhide
i see a lot of new options on zen comon on peripherals butā¦if you press alt the explanation is a shit. And of course i needed to set the timings again to make it work at 3200.How many years i go to need to see my hynix corsair lpx working with his xmp profile?
Here is the modded F10 for the Gaming 5 guys. Bare in mind that Iām not using the Gaming 5 atm so I canāt verify this file which is why Iām not putting it in the first post until someone verifies its working. You can flash from Q-Flash as usual.
Gaming 5 F10 Mod
Ket you know what, i havent got the heart to get rid of this board. i know deep down its the best one but the damn software is hysterically poor. all the components on the board are of VERY good quality, unlike MSI with their terrible NIKOS mosfets
Every fault this board has is software related not hardware, so with that said it can be sorted. plus the fact i like the way it looks, its the best looking ax370 board out there atm.
Paketeman, you say zen options are showing on your machine? they arent here dammit. you mean p-states?
Ket the bios works fine, there are a ton of options under ZEN options that i have no clue about, but p-states is not there, everything else is spot on.
still cant get the ram any higher than 3333mhz though so it must be my 3200 G.Skill trident z not capable of going higher, although thinking about it it, i doubt that very much, its enthusiast memory.
mouse movement in the UEFI is MUCH smoother, so is keyboard browsing.
windows use is MUCH smoother, so all these options must have done something, everything feels snappier and very fluid.
CPU vcore voltages drop in windows at IDLE to 0.35v but clocks donāt, and for some strange reason amd seem to think 1.35v is ok for stock frequencies!! 1.200v is plenty enough for stock on a ryzen 1700
I see you put that aorus logo in the bios, awsome
UPDATE 2
NOT WORKING
You cannot save any CPU changes, you have to reset the bios to defaults using the jumper, Otherwise pc will not boot at all, showing āodā on the LED readout
no in my k3 board no p-states aded but there are a ton of strange options.for now seems like works beter. It makes more tryās on memory before reset. And now i can operate with 1T and not like before 2T.And im able to set the cpu to 4ghz and pass the userbenchmark test. Not tryed the cinebench for now.
Is my best score for now,in winter seems like i go to be able to hold this frequencyās but on sumer i go to have the summer configuration with the stock cooler.

Thank you Guys ! Worked out Just fine :).
Just a question. Is there any chance that there will be a static CPU voltage Option other Then the disgusting Offset Option for The Gaming K5 ?
Hi ket,
Thank you for your work.
I donāt find the option to disable the spread spectrum: what am I doing wrong?
Can you take screenshots of each page in the UEFI? Iāll be able to see if any options arenāt showing up that should be that way. Iām not using the Gaming 5 atm so canāt debug it myself.
Try switching DIMM banks, you might get more success. Iād think your Trident Z is at least as capable as my set of G.Skill RipjawsV so 3466 @ 15-15-15-15-35-55 2T with 1.35v is probably doable for you. Unless the option has been moved somewhere I didnāt see it I did note that it looked like Gigabyte outright removed Gear Down so switching to 2T might be impossible. I constantly hounded Gigabyte about 2T being broken on the Gaming 5 (no POST when switching to it) so I wouldnāt be surprised if they just lazily removed the option rather than actually debug and fix it. Regards the CPU issue you might be encountering a bug I found when testing the new firmware for the X370GT7, CPU voltage isnāt applied when you change it meaning any overclock you dial in is likely to fail. AMDs new AGESA is more like three steps back rather than a step forward. Why the completely redid it all I have no idea surely their new CPUs only required microcode updates. Indeed I put the new logo in, unlike Gigabyte I listen
I certainly hope so ket with how much this ram cost! 3333 is no issue, from fresh built, i always put my ram in slots 2 and 4 never 1 and 3, this āmightā be where the issue is, there are so many settings in Zen options its intimidating! lol
most of the settings are ram related, i hope AMD release an agesa manual telling us end users what everything does!
i REALLY canāt understand why gigabyte think leaving out p-states is a good idea, overclocking higher without it pushes the cpu temps up 10c, with p-states enabled the cpu clocks down to 1500mhz and idles at 15c
the voltages of the vcore still drop without it, but ts never a good idea to idle any cpu at 3.6ghz and 0.4v, this is just asking for trouble.
im 44 years old getting too old for this shit, lol. just want everything working right on this very expensive machine so i can play 2 player games with my son, was playing carmageddonII on it last night damn forgot how much fun that game was!
im now in the process of making my own win10 home single language install with MSMG toolkit, and i am avoiding win10 v1709 like the plague! it has so many issues, chief amongst which is in its image restore binaries, damn its terrible, no such issues are present in the anniversary update win10 iso. in v1709 microsoft have announced they are no longer supporting imaging so any backups you have made on this os wont restore! i wish there was a way to remove ALL backup functionality from win10 and use aomei backupper instead, that free program is truly excellent.
like gigabyte, the MOST important thing from win10 is not working, backup!
Gigabyte AX370 Gaming K7 F10 BIOS with unlocked AMD CBS (pstates are working!) and PBS.
Iāve only touched AMITSE (B1DA0ADF-4F77-4070-A88E-BFFE1C60529A) and CbsSetupDxeZP (A5E369C8-ABF9-4B43-B212-FF1BFD35666D) modules.

Thank you for continuing to try and sort this uefi out!
Iāve got my memory running at 3333MHz 13,13,13,13 1T at the moment all seems stable. 3.6ghz stock cooler.
One thing i DO like about this boards bios is, it saves all your profiles with it.
will this work on the gaming 5?
It should be possible to do similar unlock for any board. The one I posted for AX370 K7 only.
Ok thanks m8 looking forward to that
