@DoZe - if @MrBeer wants to offer this option I can show him how and where to do the mods, 3 modules need edited.
Otherwise, or, the tested and confirmed HPET disabled F13_n BIOS here can be used as a base to build on - [HELP] Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 HPET problem
another update
F13 Update 3 (CPU MicroCode Update and EFI IRST RAID for SATA 17.5.0.4136)
Also IntelĀ® Management(ME) 11.8.65.3590 (Firmware) Please Run after flash
Also I will not be doing HPET disabled it does not make any different enable or disable. Thanks for letting me know that was other thing to learn.
to be honest the macOS/hackintosh issue is easy to work around with a single line clover hotpatch, then you can use official or modded bios files from then on no problem. No modifying or anything, it ājust worksā. itās also not JUST this board that has problem so itās future proofing to just handle that particular issue with ACPI clover hotpatching. Heck I bet before long it ends up being build into clover/automated if enough boards make the change that cause the issue.
I definitely think bear doesnāt need to do a thing other than what heās been doing
F14 is out
updated to gigabyte F14 bios and seems pretty solid so far, no issues.
Thanks will update tonight
F14 Update ( Support JEDEC DDR4 native 3200MHz memory + CPU update was old had to update to new one from this site)
IntelĀ® Management(ME) 11.8.65.3606 (Firmware) Update on site
updated to your f14 mod and all is well. Actually had some trouble configuring memory on earlier bios versions, but GBT seems to have made things easier with the 3200Mhz compatability with F14 bios. Loving it so far, Thanks as always!
Do anyone use the on board graphics card I see there is a update for it slbut I canāt test it. There is going to be anotherw update to new cpu code again.
I donāt normally use onboard graphics, but can enable it on my 8700K to verify working iGPU if you need. Just let me know.
Thanks will see if I can this done tonight .I am doing some work outside of my house got to get it done before winter comes.
F14 Update # 1 (CPU update)
flashed this update. is OK, all settings from previous f14 profile restored properly. Did you still need iGPU tested?
No I have to look at it first also donāt want to do to much I donāt know if gigabyle is going to release another bios for the new cpu . They support the 390 we will have to see if the 370 get it.
you mean 9900KS? should be same microcode as 9900K, it is just a higher binned version of the 9900K. TDP for 9900KS is rumored to be 127W though which means other boards with weaker VRM might suffer, but Z370 Gaming 7 has a very strong VRM and should be fine
F14 Update # 2 ( EFI IRST RAID for SATA + Orom 17.7.0.4404 and EFI GOP Driver SKL-CML 9.0.1092)
Fulled tested for the new video rom. No Problems Boot into windows.
also IntelĀ® Management(ME) 11.8.70.3626 (Firmware)
Do you by chance know how to do the mod to enable the hidden CFG-Lock setting? You can see how itās done here https://github.com/korzhyk/CLOVER-Z370-AORUS-Gaming-7 which links to a custom version called F13 RB, maybe compare it to standard F13?
More info about that here

@MrBeer - I can do the above request if you canāt or donāt want to, let me know.
@MysticalOS - please clarify, do you want the setting visible to you in the BIOS, or do you just need it set to disabled?
Setting to be visible would be nice. yes I want to turn it off, but being able to turn it back on without flashing again would also be nice.
