Old ECS P55H-CM Intel ROM Update

I have an old ECS P55H-CM Motherboard I would like to turn into a file server, but it has Intel ROM v8.9 so it cannot see 4TB disks. Unfortunately there were no BIOS updates that updated the Intel ROM version, the controller is an ICH10R so it should be able to get ROM v10.6 from reading around and the BIOS is manufacturer is American Megatrends. Any Help/Guidance would be appreciated.

If the BIOS has an AMI architecture, you can use >this< guide for the update of the Intel RAID ROM module, but you have to search for the AMI MMTool v3.26 your own.
Regarding the Intel RST RAID ROM, which has to be inserted, I recommend to take the TRIM modded v11.2.0.1527 one. You can find it >here<.
