He probably was right.
in the bios which module is vga rom module ? i want to compare the files
Usually all Option ROM modules are within the CSMCORE file of the AMI UEFI BIOSes.
You can find the VGA ROM by checking the shown Vendor and DeviceID.

what ? ı dont know how to do really.
i have looked at realtek’s site and see this:there is PXE ROM CODE and PXE and RPL ROM CODE which is for ami aptio uefi 4 bios notebook
also is UEFİ UNDI driver same as EFİ Realtek UNDI in ubu tool ?
have a nice day
edit:how can ı update pxe rom and efi realtek undi ?
Yes!
Why do you want to do that with your notebook and risk any problem while flashing the modded BIOS? Both modules are only important for the Wake-On-LAN feature. Are you using or will you ever use that feature with your mobile system?

I bet, that your point of view will change instantly, when you ever will get a bricked notebook by an abvsolutely unneeded BIOS modding.
If you want to do get the Realtek LAN OROM and EFI LAN "driver" updated nevertheless, I recommend to use the UBU tool (although it has not been designed for the usage with mobile systems).
it updates pxe rom but not undi do you have any solution for it ım ready to try
EDIT by Fernando: Unneeded quoted text removed (to save space)
If UBU doesn’t update it, there is either nothing to update or a problem with the original module.
Since the update will be risky and useless simultaneously, I will not assist you.
Hi Fernando I have a question. Can I transfer iccoverclocking module from another asus bios file to my asus rom file? Will my motherboard work after flashing with that modification? Since I want to enable overclocking options on my mainboard
@ Alex:
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
You can update/replace a lot of BIOS modules by using the suitable tool, but the much more important questions are:
1. Will you be able to successfully flash such modded BIOS into the BIOS chip of your system?
2. Will the updated/replaced BIOS modules properly work?
My answers are: I do not know.
Additional questions:
1. About which ASUS mainboard model are you talking?
2. Which PCI ROM module do you want to replace?
Regards
Dieter (alias Fernando)
I know I can replace every module I want but don 't know that it can be dangerous.
1.I cannot know if flashing will be successful until someone confirms that it will 100% work.
2.I am still not sure if these modules will confirmly work.
1.My Motherboard model is ASUS P8H61 M LX3
2.I want to insert ‘‘IccOverClocking’’ ‘‘IccOverclockingDxe’’ ‘‘IccPlatform’’ ‘‘NvramSmi’’ and ‘‘NvRamFailureRecoveryDxe’’. Since the bios for my motherboard does not contain any of them.Just need to know if can work or not?
Best Regards
Alex
If you want to minimize the risks of a bricked mainboard, you will need a confirmation by someone, who
a) has the same mainboard,
b) has inserted the same modules into the BIOS of his/her ASUS mainboard,
c) has already tried to flash the modded BIOS and
d) has read your post and takes the time to send you a success resp. failure report.
Do you really believe in miracles?
By the way: Your request has nothing to do with the topic of this thread, because the OverClocking modules do not belong to the Option ROM modules.
I thought if someone here can provide me the result of this flashed motherboard type.Just wondering if modding expert Sonix LS_29 member of this forum can give me the answer I would be really happy to know if its possible to enable overclocking settings.
Regards
Alex
@Alex If you want to overclock your BCLK you have to first and foremost Mod the ME Firmware:
http://forum.techinferno.com/general-not…es-laptops.html
Or maybe there is something here: Special: Intel Management Engine
@Fernando (and all contributor) THX for keeping all the latest stuff in one place, you are saving a lot of people a lot of time!
Hi Prema
I was thinking if I can enable overclocking settings in bios if i insert these so called "Icc" modules from another bios file to the bios for my motherboard where i found them. But i already downloaded ME System tools and firmware. But i only have one question:Will modifying ME unlock CPU and iGPU Clock and Voltage Controls?
By the way thanks for posting additional instructions from your site.
Regards
Alex
No, CPU/iGPU multiplier as well as voltage control is controlled by BIOS, did you try Intel XTU as an alternative NVRAM interface to access them?
Nope,it only works with TurboV EVO feature (part of AI Suite 2)
