I guess this means I continue to use Intel. Thank you!
The moddedd new (v5.0.3.42) driver better than the old (under w7) official (v1.0.10.255) for 7-Series (DEV_1E31)
BUT!
You shared installer package not work perfectly, sorry. The manualy install method skip some, this is the problem. The driver istalled and looks good but the connection speed slow, maybe usb 2.
My thinks better install solution preparing the original istaller. Change each file for modded one. After install modded pack realy work’s with usb 3 speed.
I’m like this forum.
Have you missed this one?
VIA USB 3.0 Driver version 6.1.7600.5201

Credits to pacman, as always
@7alvoo :
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum and thanks for your interesting report!
That is a good idea and I have already prepared such "Intel USB 3.0+3.1 Drivers & Software Set mod+signed by Fernando". Nevertheless I am not sure, whether it will work for users, who are running Win10, because all the Controller and Hub drivers are within a folder named "Win7". Maybe the "wrong" folder name itself is without any relevance for Win10 users, but I am not sure about it. On the other hand a renaming of any driver folder may interfere with the installer script.
Unfortunately I am currently not able to test such mod+signed complete USB 3.0 Drivers & Software Set package myself, because I don’t have access to my normal PC equipment.
Questions:
1. Which OS did you run while trying to install the complete Drivers & Software Set after having replaced the original by the mod+signed drivers?
2. If it was Win10, did you rename the "Win7" folder (e.g. to "Win")?

@TigTex :
Thanks for the reminder.
No, I didn’t miss this driver, but
a) I was not able to extract the "pure" drivers and
b) I have realized, that this "new" VIA USB 3.0 package is dated 03/03/2016.
Nevertheless I will offer these VIA drivers, if someone can extract and attach the "pure" drivers.

I installed the Asmedia 1.16.47.1 with Fernando installer on my X79 computer and everything is working fine. It’s the first drivers working since 1.16.41.3.
Thanks
Installed and tested ASMedia v1.16.47.1 with USB3 keys on my X99 system and does work fine. Not yet tested on my Z77 PC (but at the moment only v1.16.41.3 is working on).
Hi, there.
For me, Asmedia 1.16.47.1 with Fernando don’t work with ASM-1042 USB 3.0 on ASUS P8Z77-V DELUXE (same as v1.16.45.1). Also, during manual reinstallation I saw some troubles with driver’s sighning (smth like that).
Only version 1.16.41.3 was Ok and has functioned as expected.
I’m on Win8.1 [x64]
It still does not work asmedia 1.16.47.1 in Asus x79, it only works asmedia 1.16.41.3.
Greetings.

Thanks for your report. If I compare your feedback with the ones I got from the Forum members Big Barn and 100PIER, the brandnew ASMedia USB 3.0/3.1 drivers v1.16.47.1 WHQL are fine, but obviously not for all systems.
As a consequence I will not remove the links to the much older ASMedia USB 3.0/3.1 drivers v1.16.41.3 from the start post of this thread.
I don’t know if it matters but I have windows 10 latest build.
Hello Fernando, I updated today ASMedia USB 3.0 v1.16.47.1 my p9x79 deluxe,this version works very well on p9x79 deluxe os win 10x64
@Fernando ,
A new ASMedia USB3.1 driver v1.16.47.2 WHQL does available from driverscloud.com source.
I have installed and tested on X99 PC W10 x64 build 15063.413 and does work fine. (not sure if it is working properly on ASUS P8Z77-V Deluxe, but v1.16.41.3 is OK)
@100PIER :
Thanks for having found a new USB driver.
Since I cannot find the ASMedia USB 3.1 drivers v1.16.47.2 at driverscloud.com, it would be fine, if you put them into a .ZIP or *.RAR archive and attach the package here.
@Fernando
The zipped file is offered on Driverscloud.com when scantool (My drivers) does detect an obsolete version.
I have tried to attach the zipped file (13.5 Mo), but seems a size limitation does exist because i got a german message error…
