@Lost_N_BIOS Sorry for the misunderstanding I used the "FPTw.exe -bios -f biosreg.bin" command and it was successful. Thank you.
@zamroc9 - Great you got what I meant, and now tested with success! This means you donāt have to do anything to flash back in mod BIOS now, please wait, I will make you unlocked BIOS now
@zamroc9 - Here is your unlocked BIOS, flash back via >> FPTw.exe -bios -f biosregm.bin
http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?filā¦744118704204842
*** WARNING - To ANYONE with laptop and unlocked BIOS!!!
DO NOT try to enable this graphics card or disable that card, switch cards etc. Otherwise you will end up with no display output (ie black screen) and no way to recover except by blind flash or with flash programmer.
You can change graphics related settings, like changing memory sizes, or core speeds etc, just donāt try to disable one card or change which is main etc.
Additionally, be very careful when trying to undervolt CPU, you can leave BIOS unbootable due to CPU voltage too low (Sometimes even 0.05 is too much)
WARNING ** - This BIOS is user specific! If you are not user zamroc9 at Win-RAID.com forum, DO NOT USE THIS BIOS!!
If you do, and you are not zamroc9, then you will loose your serial, UUID, OG NVRAM, and possibly LAN MAC ID as well.
You have been warned!!!
@371 - Thanks, I will check it now
edit - @371 - Please make DOS Bootable USB, and disable secure boot in BIOS @ Security Page
Copy all contents of V12 FPT DOS folder to root of USB (nothing in folders), then copy this ME.BIN also to root of USB - http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?filā¦276192352676748
Make second USB to boot go grub, then boot to grub and do the following to enable ME FW Re-Flash (case sensitive) >>
setup_var 0x8F1 0x01
Then CTRL-ALT-Del and on startup hit boot menu hotkey and boot to DOS immediately, do not reboot to DOS from windows, or let machine reboot twice etc (or you will have to redo this)
As itās rebooting from CTRL-ALT-Del above, swap Grub USB to DOS USB and boot to DOS as mentioned. Do this fast, so USB is loaded, or have both USB installed during this whole time, just be sure to boot to DOS directly after you CTRL-ALT-Del above
At DOS prompt >>
FPT.exe -me -f me.bin
FPT.exe -greset
If you get error (Show me error or tell me error #), reboot and try ALL again, probably lost setup_var change, it only remains for one boot, if system is booted twice itās reset.
If you get error and cannot set the variable at grub, then you will have to use RU method I mentioned here - Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED BIOS Unlocking and Modding Issue (8)
If you use the RU method, this will hard set this setting, so ME FW will be disabled, and you will need to redo this and set 0x00 to Disable this setting instead of 0x01 once you are done, after the FPT flash, then ME FW will be enabled.
@Lost_N_BIOS Ok need a little bit time, I need to organize a secound USB flash drive
update:
ā>> grub with setup_var command ā no problem
ā>> then reboot with CMD + ALT + DEL and boot into DOS ā no problem
ā>> FTP the ME.bin ā Error 238: CPU has no write access to target flash areaā¦
tried 3 times all the same result, Secure Boot is disabled, somehow the ME version number is back again, but I noticed under Windows 10 the task "System" (ntoskrnl.exe) is constantly causing ~10% load, which leads to higher idle CPU package power consumption and 10Ā°c temperature hotter, the CPU speed never goes below 3.8Ghz
@zamroc9 - Youāre welcome! Let me know if you need help with any other BIOS issue, I can usually help
@371 disable secure boot already? If yes, donāt use Rufus, make a Win98 SE disk instead, or donāt use MBR Rufus options, or donāt use UEFI Rufus options etc.
Hereās how to make Win98SE USB Boot, follow steps 1-2 ONLY, then copy in there your FPT files and ME.BIN - <Request> Flagship X470 Gaming 7 Wifi Motherboard BIOS Fix
Grub was no problem? I mean, did you test this with current variable, just to see if you get same error as previous (not able to set variable)? You can test now, if you want, for the sake of testing, it will just be reset after you reboot
I ask this because, in the end, due to your previous no luck with grub and setup_var, it may just be easier for you to set this via RU method (and while there, you can also disable BIOS lock variable too if you want )
Sorry, I thought you said you had problem to use grub previously, you couldnāt set BIOS Lock variable? Or sorry, maybe I confused you with other user, or maybe even other user in other thread (I get lost in here sometimes )
So nice, looks like ME is now working! Please confirm with HWINFO64 >> DOWNLOAD HWINFO64 HERE
See image below for where to check ME FW version, if you see version # properly and not 0.0.0.0 or N/A or missing ME FW entirely in this section, then ME FW is OK and must have been all along (maybe some glitch had it disabled)?
Or, maybe it was only messed up, until you flashed in the proper mod BIOS I made you? Anyway, if ME FW shows up properly here, nothing to do, all is fixed and OK
No Problem, with all the help requests to you itās fully normal to get lost
ME version is showing normal, but the CPU is constantly at 10% load caused by SYSTEM, Iāll google it how to solve this issue.
@371 Yes, ME FW looks good now Ha, yes, thanks for understanding, I think I was thinking of these guys, few of them in last page or two had issues tonight with setup_var - Gigabyte Aero 15 OLED BIOS Unlocking and Modding Issue (8)
Sorry, not sure about 10% system, could be ANY number of things. You may need to do diagnostic startup using only system services first and see if issue still there, if not, then add everything else back one by one.
You might be able to see what it is from task manager properties, expand until you get right to the item, and then right click and open file location or go to service etc - that may help you find it.
Aside from that, check startup items, clear temp folders etc, run spyware/adware scans etc.
@Lost_N_BIOS , greetings! Can you unlock bios for my laptop? I have original Tongfang GK7CP0 chassis flashed with last bios from XMG Neo 17 (XNE17M19), it works fine without any problems from december 2019.
Here is link for original bios from XMG: https://download.schenker-tech.de/package/xmg_neo17xne17m19/ (EC and BIOS for XMG_NEO_M19_RTX2060)

@Lost_N_BIOS thanks for your help. I flashed your modified bios without errors, butā¦ there is no āAdd Main 2ā, āAdv 2ā, āChipsetā, āBoot 2ā options .
But i see some differences in āAdvancedā. I tried to load optimized defaults, but it doesnāt help
Screens:
@KORD_12.7 - Very sorry about that, seems I forgot to insert the main mod file and thought I did before I did final rebuild
Here, all should be correct now, apologies again for the mix-up!

Is there a modded bios for the Evoo LP6?
@Inori - What is your LP6 TongFang model (example = GK7CP0S)? Anyway, probably not, all BIOS here are user/system specific, you have to dump your BIOS and send to me and I will mod for you.
Please link me to the stock BIOS download page if you can, and then do below. Also, show me image of Advanced >> Lighting Option (select/open this), that way I can see first and last lighting choice given to you, so I know which one is visible/hidden so I can add other one for you
Additionally, please remove all BIOS passwords, disable secure boot, and disable TPM or Encryption if you have enabled. Do this before moving on to below
If you do not have Intel ME drivers installed, install them now from your system driver download page, then start over here after reboot.
Check your BIOSā main page and see if ME FW version is shown. If not then > DOWNLOAD HWINFO64 HERE <
Once HWINFO is open, look at the large window on the left side, expand motherboard, and find the ME area.
Inside that section is the ME Firmware version. Take note of the version. (ie. write it down or get a screenshot)
Once you have that, go to the thread linked below, and in the section āC.2ā find and download the matching ME System Tools Package for your system.
(ie if ME FW version = 10.x get V10 package, if 9.0-9.1 get V9.1 package, if 9.5 or above get V9.5 package etc)
> DOWNLOAD " ME System Tools " packages HERE <
Once downloaded, inside you will find Flash Programming Tool folder, and then inside that a Windows or Win/Win32 folder (NOT x64).
Highlight that Win/Win32 folder, then hold shift and press right click. Choose āopen command window hereā (Not power shell! >> * See Registry file below *).
If you get an error, reply to this post with a screenshot of it, OR write down the EXACT command entered and the EXACT error given.
((If āopen command window hereā does not appear, look for the āSimple Registry Editā belowā¦))
Step #1
Now you should be at the command prompt.
You are going to BACKUP the factory un-modified firmware, so type the following command:
Command: " FPTw.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin "
>> Attach the saved "biosreg.bin ", placed into a compressed ZIP/RAR file, to your next post!!! <<
Step #2
Right after you do that, try to write back the BIOS Region dump and see if you get any error(s).
Command: " FPTw.exe -bios -f biosreg.bin "
^^ This step is important! Donāt forget! ^^
If you get an error, reply to this post with a screenshot of it, OR write down the EXACT command entered and the EXACT error given.
Here is a SIMPLE REGISTRY EDIT that adds āOpen command window here as Administratorā to the right click menu, instead of Power Shell
Double-click downloaded file to install. Reboot after install may be required
> CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD CMD PROMPT REGISTRY ENTRY <
If the windows method above does NOT work for youā¦
Then you may have to copy all contents from the Flash Programming Tool \ DOS folder to the root of a Bootable USB disk and do the dump from DOS
( DOS command: " FPT.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin " )
Thank you. Mine comes in tomorrow. Iāll make sure to dump it right away thanks again
