the exact model is an overpowered op-lp3
and I have tried to install a clean installation of windows if success always gives me bsod
the original memory that this model brings works in another pc and I have tried several memories that work in other pc samsung, hinix etc without success I am open to your suggestions
------------------------------------
Yes ,sorry for the error , this bios of update is
Intel_cfl_GK7CN6S_ESI_BIOS_N.1.08_20181128-2
and the dump I made of 16mb was with a CH431, I could unlock it to test a possible suggestion that I have
-----------------------
@painsiy
If I have tried without battery but it freezes or restarts in the op screen
----------------------------
@Lonely_wolf
This is mi dump from ch431a programmer
https://mega.nz/file/jxAxxYrC#31MnuvZPE_ā¦bUEsl26uh6d-U9U
Please unlock for me
@Lonely_wolf - Great to hear all is working again now! Yes, probably with 64GB, it needed to train memory or something, may take longer on first boot, or may need to reboot a few times etc.
@Alis1204 - Sounds like something on the board maybe faulty then? Maybe faulty AC Adapter, or AC Connector etc? This comment only about the battery/AC things you mention
Can you still return for replacement, you just purchased recently? If yes, do that now before time runs out.
Memory should not error like that, especially not all different sets of memory. But, could be all not compatible, or speed/timings not working with this BIOS etc.
Original memory, if tested and not giving errors on another system, should be OK and compatible.
Here is your unlocked BIOS -
If write fails, and it does not boot, tell me your BIOS chip ID you read off the chip (not from software) and I will tell you what software/version is best to do the write with
Ohh! Wait, never mind, that is failed bad dump you uploaded! What software/version did you dump that with?
What is your BIOS chip ID, then I will tell you what software/version do dump and write with.
@Lost_N_BIOS
I did the bios dump with an external programmer and id is
GK7CN6S
The laptop is not in guarantee I got it second hand, and browsing there I found that it could be a problem of having it overclocked and disabling some functions it could come back to life
@Lost_N_BIOS here is a screenshot and photo of my Bios
i was able to get through the first step but the file I go was 10mb in size
I donāt know if I made any mistake
here is the link

--------------------------
@painsiy - Sounds like maybe EC FW or ME FW is messed up possibly. Or could be a messed up CPU? What is the exact model CPU, and is it the one that originally came with the system?
Can you see ME FW version on BIOS Main page, or with HWINFO64 as shown below
I donāt know if you can still help
@Alis1204 - I was asking what is your BIOS Chip ID, read if off the chip with your eyes, do not tell me what software tells you the ID is.
If you have locked BIOS, then itās not overclocked, so how could that be giving you problems??
So for now I wait for you to give me your BIOS chip ID, so I can tell you software/version to make a good dump from chip with. The dump you made before is badly corrupted, due to wrong software/version or chip ID used etc
Also, please make your two systems closer together when you are using programmer, so cable is not stretched out like that, it can easily move mid-way through read or write, and cause bad read or write
@painsiy - Looks like ME FW is āOKā as far as a quick check like I mentioned, so itās not badly corrupted or anything for now.
If you want to do this via FPT, you need to tell me what error you get, if any, at step #2 of the FPT spoiler below.
Additionally, please remove all BIOS passwords, disable secure boot, and disable TPM or Encryption if you have enabled. Do this before moving on to below
If you do not have Intel ME drivers installed, install them now from your system driver download page, then start over here after reboot.
Check your BIOSā main page and see if ME FW version is shown. If not then > DOWNLOAD HWINFO64 HERE <
Once HWINFO is open, look at the large window on the left side, expand motherboard, and find the ME area.
Inside that section is the ME Firmware version. Take note of the version. (ie. write it down or get a screenshot)
Once you have that, go to the thread linked below, and in the section āC.2ā find and download the matching ME System Tools Package for your system.
(ie if ME FW version = 10.x get V10 package, if 9.0-9.1 get V9.1 package, if 9.5 or above get V9.5 package etc)
> DOWNLOAD " ME System Tools " packages HERE <
Once downloaded, inside you will find Flash Programming Tool folder, and then inside that a Windows or Win/Win32 folder (NOT x64).
Highlight that Win/Win32 folder, then hold shift and press right click. Choose āopen command window hereā (Not power shell! >> * See Registry file below *).
If you get an error, reply to this post with a screenshot of it, OR write down the EXACT command entered and the EXACT error given.
((If āopen command window hereā does not appear, look for the āSimple Registry Editā belowā¦))
Step #1
Now you should be at the command prompt.
You are going to BACKUP the factory un-modified firmware, so type the following command:
Command: " FPTw.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin "
>> Attach the saved "biosreg.bin ", placed into a compressed ZIP/RAR file, to your next post!!! <<
Step #2
Right after you do that, try to write back the BIOS Region dump and see if you get any error(s).
Command: " FPTw.exe -bios -f biosreg.bin "
^^ This step is important! Donāt forget! ^^
If you get an error, reply to this post with a screenshot of it, OR write down the EXACT command entered and the EXACT error given.
Here is a SIMPLE REGISTRY EDIT that adds āOpen command window here as Administratorā to the right click menu, instead of Power Shell
Double-click downloaded file to install. Reboot after install may be required
> CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD CMD PROMPT REGISTRY ENTRY <
If the windows method above does NOT work for youā¦
Then you may have to copy all contents from the Flash Programming Tool \ DOS folder to the root of a Bootable USB disk and do the dump from DOS
( DOS command: " FPT.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin " )
Sorry to you both!! Looks like I may have merged the above post together, thinking both was by painsiy ?
@Lost_N_BIOS
yeah, it was both Painsiy, thanks for that
let me quickly do that and get back to you
------------------------
@Lost_N_BIOS
I donāt think i go any error
Is there any way to update the bios to maybe a newer one?
@painsiy - Thanks for confirming about the merge, I was not sure due to you tagged yourself (if it was you?) That didnāt catch my eye until I already merged the posts, so I was not sure
Please use edit function if you need to add more info, questions etc and no one has replied yet, itās over on the right side - thanks
Good no error, so nothing more you need to do, I can just unlock, send back to you, then you program in.
As for updating your BIOS, youād have to do that first and then redo all this to send me new BIOS region dump
I am not sure what BIOS is out there for your model, I got this link from the manufacturer page for your model, all drivers are in single package (which Iām not going to download)
Youāll have to grab the package and see if newer BIOS is in there or not - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1oczEl9bā¦7OBrSsmT0s/view
From this page - https://www.eluktronics.com/Mech-1660-9thGen-Drivers/
I will wait to download your BIOS above, so you can check that package and see if newer BIOS is there or not
@Lost_N_BIOS
Thanks for that, noted!
the manufacture doesnāt provide any bios update for this laptop anywhere
I donāt know if bios can be interchanged between laptops of the same spec but from different manufacture (same tongfang laptop just different branding)?
Iāve all the links and files you sent already
please you can go ahead and help me unlock the bios
I really appreciate your effort
I can see an updated version from a different brand here itās the same laptop model(same CPU same GPU same motherboard layout different bios)
https://download.schenker-tech.de/package/xmg_neo15xne15m19/
is this worth doing? or do you think it would work?
@painsiy - Did you download the package I linked, and no new BIOS? If yes, then maybe your only hope is to direct email them and ask for copy of latest BIOS/EC package.
For flashing other brand Tonfang, yes, you can usually do that if same Tonfang Model (ie GK7CP6S) and same CPU/GPU
If/when you do this, be sure you update BIOS + EC FW at same time. Yes, I checked, I think you are OK to use that BIOS. Update BIOS + EC FW
Make sure you get >>
Bios-XMG_NEO_M19_GTX1660Ti_BIOS_N.1.04.zip
Bios-XMG_NEO_M19_GTX1660Ti_EC_1.12.69.zip
@Lost_N_BIOS
Yes, I have the exact same zip file on my system, it hasnāt been updated since they uploaded it
now let me go and look for how to flash both bios and EC FW
without any issue
Iāll be sure to give you an update
last question, the file I uploaded does that serve as a backfile for me, in case i need to go back to the old bios?
@painsiy - I thought maybe so, but itās so huge I canāt download just to check it for BIOS version.
Update BIOS then reboot and immediately update EC FW.
Or, you can do like this, similar system/process, but youāll have to adjust for file names etc - https://www.reddit.com/r/motile/commentsā¦eeding_windows/
Yes, your FPT backup would be backup you could use to go back, if you ever needed to, and or for BIOS recovery with programmer if you ever needed to (but, someone would need to rebuild BIOS for you)
And for the last part I mentioned, you should dump the following as well, just so you have
FPTw.exe -desc -d FD.Bin
FPTw.exe -ME -d ME.BIN << May error/not let you
FPTw.exe -gbe -d gbe.bin <<< May error, if not present
Hi Lost_N_BIOS, I have a evoo lp6 and Iām a bit scared of modifying the bios. Could you please modify mine?
My bios link mediafire/file/u05zfxuuka94ecp/biosreg.zip/file
@NoHope - Here you go

*** WARNING - To ANYONE with laptop and unlocked BIOS!!!
DO NOT try to enable this graphics card or disable that card, switch cards etc. Otherwise you will end up with no display output (ie black screen) and no way to recover except by blind flash or with flash programmer.
You can change graphics related settings, like changing memory sizes, or core speeds etc, just donāt try to disable one card or change which is main etc.
Additionally, be very careful when trying to undervolt CPU, you can leave BIOS unbootable due to CPU voltage too low (Sometimes even 0.05 is too much)
WARNING *** - This BIOS is user specific! If you are not user NoHope at Win-RAID.com forum, DO NOT USE THIS BIOS!!
If you do, and you are not NoHope, then you will loose your serial, UUID, OG NVRAM, and possibly LAN MAC ID as well.
You have been warned!!!
@Lost_N_BIOS Hello! I have a chinese laptop - Hasee KingBook X57S1, seller told me itās Tongfang based-one laptop, but i am not sure about that. I did unlock for advanced settings (Chipset / Advanced settings > just changed in AMITSE module to hide Menu / Security pages and put on their places Advanced / Chipset). And i saw, that you managed to unlock all the pages and keep old one in BIOS too. Is it possible to do in my case too?
Link to the FULL dump from FTP tool (including updated ME and GOP/desc/BIOS/unhidden Advanced/Chipset) - https://yadi.sk/d/FXNQdWVlymX0sQ
Link to ONLY BIOS dump from FTP tool - (updated GOP/unhidden Advanced/Chipset) https://yadi.sk/d/XSowJz5JwB8EzA
Link to vendor latest BIOS update (FULL) (with old GOP/ME/and locked advanced settings) - https://yadi.sk/d/NXuZ-9DpglojRQ
@b0ltun - Hey! Yes, probably I can, but I would not want to edit your BIOS that you already edited.
Please reflash stock BIOS using stock method, then send me FPT dump of clean unedited BIOS region >> FPTw.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin
With this, please include one image of each main BIOS page (ie main, advanced if there, security, boot, exit etc) Please resize these images to 1000px wide or so, 100-300kb max is all thatās needed) - Put all with BIOSreg.bin in max compressed zip
So, what needs unlocked here, stock BIOS does not have Advanced and Chipset I assume, correct? Maybe add Overclock Performance menu too, yes?
I donāt see two advanced, or two boot etc, in the BIOS, so I assume you donāt need to keep the some advanced and unlock some hidden one (just unlock ADV and Chipset, correct?)
The BIOS you linked (last link, vendor latest) I checked. No, this does not look at all like any Tonfang based BIOS, but yes, I can unlock for you
There may not be room to add all three (Advanced, Chipset, Overclock Performance Menu), without swapping for some sections you may not use (like Main or Security, like you already mentioned doing)
So, due to this ^^, I may not be able to help you more than you already know how to do. Itās due to the way they structured AMITSE, didnāt leave enough empty places at the menu areas, but we may be able to do without adding there, will have to test and see.
Oh. Got it. I will attach "clean" dump BIOS of latest BIOS update
If itās possible to unlock all hidden (Advanced/Chipset/Overclocking Perf) and keep default one (like Main / Security) - itās will be very good. But if itās not possible - thatās okay to hide Main/Security, because Secure Boot set to disabled by default + Main page is really not usefull. Also i wasnāt able to find and unlock Overclocking Perf menu, so if itās possible to hide Menu/Security and unlock Advanced/Chipset/Overclocking - thatās would be great too.
I attached biosreg.bin dump with default BIOS non-modified
Edit: attached photos
biosreg.zip (3.68 MB)
@b0ltun - Please do images as I asked, I am on limited internet, thanks.
Please resize images to 800-1000px wide, and put all images + BIOS region into one max compress zip. You may not be able to attach here, itās OK, upload to any free file host.
OK, I will first make you BIOS try to keep them all, not sure if there is enough empty places, but weāll try something like that first
Then if no luck we can swap as you did >> Main / for ADV, Security / For Chipset + Add Overclock Performance Menu (There is one empty place for sure)
And yes, any menu you replace, settings will be left at default (or we can change first, or later, if you needed)
OverClocking Performance Menu is inside āSetupā, two entries above āChipsetā, look at the BIOS in AMIBCP, you will see it
@Lost_N_BIOS Sorry!! I did wrong dump again, heh. I just checked, thatās it was an attempt to unlock. I did clean reflash vendor bios and dumped again. Sorry for that mistake!
biosreg.zip (3.68 MB)
So, BIOS above (post #579) is after clean stock BIOS flashed?
