Question about M.2 > PCIe NVMe Adapter

Hi guys, I need help and I don’t know where should I ask this, I flashed a modded bios to my motherboard so I can use nvme and the adapter arrived today, unfortunately upon inspection of the adapter it doesn’t have smd/capacitor which is visible to different model/brand of nvme adapter.

My question is, is it safe to use without those smds/components?

Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
Since your question has nothing to do with the topic “How to get full NVMe Support for all Systems with an AMI UEFI BIOS”, I have moved your post here.
By the way - I don’t know the answer to your question, but maybe >this< discussion will help you.
Enjoy the Forum!

Ignore that “picky” doubt you have and move on, this are simple adapters bus conversion and you can find expensive ones and cheaper ones…with a lot of pcb designs, they all work, some better some worst.
