Hello I have the laptop mentioned in the title. I need the bios unlocked for modding and setting up XMP profile for memory. If someone can help me please do let me know i do have dump. I am attaching helpful files and links.

@rtncyp - I assume you have flash programmer? If not, let me know and I will tell you how to disable locks so we can use FPT instead.

DO NOT try to enable this graphics card or disable that card, switch cards etc. Otherwise you will end up with no display output (ie black screen) and no way to recover except by blind flash or with flash programmer.
You can change graphics related settings, like changing memory sizes, or core speeds etc, just don’t try to disable one card or change which is main etc.
Additionally, be very careful when trying to undervolt CPU, you can leave BIOS unbootable due to CPU voltage too low (Sometimes even 0.05 is too much)
WARNING *** - This BIOS is user specific! If you are not user rtncyp at Win-RAID.com forum, DO NOT USE THIS BIOS!!
If you do, and you are not rtncyp, then you will loose your serial, UUID, OG NVRAM, and possibly LAN MAC ID as well.

@rtncyp - You’re welcome! Yes, your thread caught me right while I was looking at a similar BIOS for another user, so I knew I could do yours real quick while I was on the other 
FPT method not needed since you have programmer. And if you wanted to try it for later, there is several guided steps I’d have to walk you through, a few methods/things you need to do, and then maybe it will work (not sure on this model yet, no one tried, but I do assume maybe possible)
Yes, you can always use your original dump to recover, provided you can write to chip properly (already know what software/version writes to your chip OK)
If you want to know FPT method, and try going that route without using programmer, we can, but you will use different file and I will have to do edit again (Not a big deal, just letting you know current file will not be used)
If you want to do that instead of using programmer, let me know. And then do below. We already know step #2 result = 167, so just do #1 AFTER you do the vars stuff and send it to me, then program back the unlocked vars, then you will do #1 and send to me
We can just use that if you want, you do not need to do above stuff, it’s only there if you wanted to try that instead of using programmer

Ok friend, your bios is locked (Eeprom) you got error 167 so Bios lock and FPRR …
We have two ways
1. H2OUVE tool
2. RU Shell
Download these tools (try one for one and look if there are errors) :

So use the H20UVE_100.00.16.08 version tool to make a vars.txt backup and upload it for me, from a Admin command window run this command :
H2OUVE.exe -gv vars.txt
Upload it for me as i have to edit it and ulpoad to you …
Then use RU Shell to modify that variable (from EFI IFR txt) :

You have to find the PCH-Setup GUID: 4570B7F1-ADE8-4943-8DC3-406472842384 , then modify the variable 0x17 from 0x1 >> 0x00 ans variable 0x6D1 form 0x01 >> 0x00
Then reboot to windows and use Fptw64.exe to make a bios backup , upload it for me and i will clean it to make a bios mod.
Please when you find it upload a photo so i can be sure and you too that you’re patching the right one …

Ok friend,
to use the tools you have to open a command window as Admin, go into the folder’s tool and use shift and right mouse click and choice
Open Powershell window as Administrator , to open command window, then run cmd + ENTER and go …
use H2OUVE like before to rewrite back the varsmod.txt (varibles modified), put the file into the folder containing H2OUVE.exe and execute this command :
H2OUVE.exe -sv varsmod.txt
