Hello friends,
I’m reviving an old rig I found in my summer house, its mobo is a subject Biostar GF8200 M2+ 6.1 which came with a fossil Athlon X64.
I bought a second-hand Phenom, it even runs but is not detected by BIOS and shows as “AMD unknown CPU 800Mhz” both in BIOS and Windows so its performance is ruined.
I checked in MC Extractor and the last known CPU code is cpu00100F41, and the one I need is cpu00100F43.
Tried using MMTOOL 3.22, it shows the existing microcodes and lets me remove them but no luck when trying to feed it with any additional microcode being it old or new.
I’d really appreciate if someone could do the mod for me or point in the right direction.

There is a few topics about this issue… only few sucess users got it by hex editing/replace the mcode. Regular MMTool and others doesnt work as intended.

Your BIOS has 6 suitable microcodes for easy replacement with 100F43. Is it okay if I replace any of them with the one you want?

And due to the modification, support for these and these processors has been eliminated.
