Hi i recently dusted off my old P9X79LE, found 32gb ram, Ye ol’ Noctua, and a 1660S laying around.
Now to my issue, i have never modded bios before and my brain can’t really grasp how to yet.
I’ve got a PNY CS1030 left over and no sata drives, by happenstance i also have a PCIe M.2 adapter.
Anyone willing to make my small dream come true and mod me the latest bios to get NVMe support?
I understand but the modded bios in that post did not state which version, i am just confused to if i have to rename the file since the original name is gone in the file shared in that post. I am new to this topic and this forum, excuse my ignorance
I just don’t want to mess up this MB, I have a Z77 i will experiment with later
From a 2017 post… im sure that will be the last version available for this mb model, but you can check it yourself before flashing, i’m sure that you know how to do this.
Anyway, i just linked one thread from the search…probably there will be more ones with NVMe and recent threads/posts dates.
I did not lose my time refining this search, that’s your task.
