[Request] BIOS Mod for AORUS 15G XC (BIOS Dump Included)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for some help modding the BIOS of my AORUS 15G XC (Intel i7-10870H / RTX 3070 Laptop).
I’ve already created a full BIOS dump using Intel FPT, but I’m not sure what exactly to modify and I’d rather not risk bricking my machine by doing it blindly.

What I’m trying to achieve:

  • Unlock hidden BIOS menus (Advanced, Power, Thermal, etc.)
  • Enable undervolting (CPU and/or cache)
  • Use all my ram abilities

Tools used so far:

  • Dump created using: Intel FPTw64
  • I haven’t made any modifications yet – looking for advice or a clean mod based on my dump.

Do NOT try to UNLOCK everything and do it by phases…it may reach a point that the boot will fail, since last mod, revert last mod action.

First, before any other operations:
See if the FD for bios_region write access is unlocked, you can flash the same region back to the system, to see if fpt lets you, cause besides this only unlocking FD or programmer, for mod files.

Using a bios_region dump of the current system: fpt -bios -f bios_reg.bin

Thanks for the reply. I will read this guide and yes it is unlocked and I can actually flash the current dump. I did it last night via RU.EFI.

Here for some testing, this bios is doing the same trick as the Asus TUF A15 2020 (swapping ID). It will probably take more time to complete the settings you want, so bear with it, lol.
