Can anyone help me about HPET Disable?
I want to test with my new AMD system and PC feeling weird. Can’t find any HPET option on BIOS. Thanks
Also i can’t see some power saving disabling settings like a Cool-n-Quiet
Lost_N_BIOS is been away since the beginning of the year, do the mod yourself or wait for someone…with time, that can help.
Hi, most likely you can not find such an option because you do not have an updated bios. can you see the latest version of the bios?

@MeatWar i did tried with AMIBCP / AFUWIN but i can’t see any HPET option in my bios while trying to mod.
Well…i saw it…but its in Auto and maybe not visible, with patience and attention to wot ur doing u can do it.
U have BFBack so ur safe.
The old string AMD CoolnQuiet does not apply to modern motherboards…u got plenty of power saving features by Asus.
EDIT: Well m8…a note for u…we r not seeing wot u see…so when reporting/asking something do elaborate the action/result.
Where and doing wot is that message presented? Flashing in EZ/Bios interface?
MOD files flash fails due to security by the OEM…u should read a bit more on forums and bios mods related. U have to use Asus Bios flash back, for other methods it need other actions to unlock security.

1. This mainboard has USB BIOS Flashback feature ,we need use it to reflash the mod.(*. modified .cap bios can’t bypass from ez-flash)

@genius239 i think i can’t. Now when im trying to access to BIOS it showing me blank screen, i can turn on/off capslock but i can see nothing

Please reflash stock official bios via flashback button to revert.
I ask you again ,after flash the mod could you see the chipset tab appear.,
@genius239 I’m trying what you saying bro believe me. Now i can’t reflash Official bios viaa flashback too. It giving solid green led to me. Should i wait more? Did i something wrong?

At #12 , you said you can’t found the hpet options anywhere , so it means it’s normal and you can goin to bios in that moment .
Then what you did , then you can’t access bios again??
I ask again ,do you see the chipset tab after flashing first mod ,why don’t you answer me?
@genius239 Bro im answering you, i can’t see anything now and i can’t re-flash my bios. I just can enter to windows. I don’t know what to do.
When first try i didn’t see HPET option or something, after restart for checking BIOS screen was black screen. After i tried to revert original bios i just can’t. LED is solid green. Its stuck

Ok~ i see.
Now two things you could try.
a) Do clear cmos. After you do it ,test go into bios setup again.
b) Flashing other version bios(not 2201) via flashback button to revert.
