BIOS Version: Insyde Corp. V1.28
BIOS Date: 5/08/2019
What i would like done: Advanced menu with all options unlocked. Currently I can access the Advanced menu but can only see the options Intel VTX and Intel VTD
On the notebook i have the InsydeH20 v1.28 BIOS installed.
As i am not permitted to post links please use the Part Number (NH.Q3MSM.001) on Acer Support ⇛ Drivers and Manuals , to find the download.
and yes , i can see that this is a different model notebook to the one i am requesting the menu unlock for.
On the Drivers and Manuals downloads page for PH315-51-78YV (NH.Q3FSA.005 ) the Insydeh20 v1.28 bios isn’t even shown as downloadable for this model, but as i have said the InsydeH20 V1.28 BIOS is installed on my PH315-51-78YV

Hey @Lost_N_BIOS when you have time, could you help with unlocking advance menu?
UPDATE
while looking through bios modding/ unlocking related posts, i found a method to unlock all advanced mode menu options, (overclock, power control, XMP) and a whole lot more.
this was tested by me today on an Acer Predator Helios 300 (PH315-51-78YV) notebook. i found a bios unlock key method.
method has been tested by me, on Acer predator Helios 300 (PH315-51) with InsydeH20 Rev 5.0 bios installed
1.launch regular BIOS by tapping F2 a few times right after boot.
2.hold Power button on BIOS screen to force a shutdown.
3. while the laptop is off, press these keys (in order) F4, 4, R, F, V, F5, 5, T, G, B, F6, 6, Y, H, N.
4.now press Power button and tap F2 a few times to boot into the BIOS again.
5.you should now see all the tabs that were hidden before.

@MagneticMayhem - Thanks for posting that HUGE key combo above for others! Wow!
If you want, I can probably unlock this BIOS, I’ve done three other PH315-51 variants so I’m sure this is probably same too (they probably all use same BIOS anyway)
Please do the following
Additionally, please remove all BIOS passwords, disable secure boot, and disable TPM or Encryption if you have enabled. Do this before moving on to below
If you do not have Intel ME drivers installed, install them now from your system driver download page, then start over here after reboot.
Check your BIOS’ main page and see if ME FW version is shown. If not then > DOWNLOAD HWINFO64 HERE <
Once HWINFO is open, look at the large window on the left side, expand motherboard, and find the ME area.
Inside that section is the ME Firmware version. Take note of the version. (ie. write it down or get a screenshot)
Once you have that, go to the thread linked below, and in the section “C.2” find and download the matching ME System Tools Package for your system.
(ie if ME FW version = 10.x get V10 package, if 9.0-9.1 get V9.1 package, if 9.5 or above get V9.5 package etc)
> DOWNLOAD " ME System Tools " packages HERE <
Once downloaded, inside you will find Flash Programming Tool folder, and then inside that a Windows or Win/Win32 folder (NOT x64).
Highlight that Win/Win32 folder, then hold shift and press right click. Choose “open command window here” (Not power shell! >> * See Registry file below *).
If you get an error, reply to this post with a screenshot of it, OR write down the EXACT command entered and the EXACT error given.
((If “open command window here” does not appear, look for the “Simple Registry Edit” below…))
Step #1
Now you should be at the command prompt.
You are going to BACKUP the factory un-modified firmware, so type the following command:
Command: " FPTw.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin "
>> Attach the saved "biosreg.bin ", placed into a compressed ZIP/RAR file, to your next post!!! <<
Step #2
Right after you do that, try to write back the BIOS Region dump and see if you get any error(s).
Command: " FPTw.exe -bios -f biosreg.bin "
^^ This step is important! Don’t forget! ^^
If you get an error, reply to this post with a screenshot of it, OR write down the EXACT command entered and the EXACT error given.
Here is a SIMPLE REGISTRY EDIT that adds “Open command window here as Administrator” to the right click menu, instead of Power Shell
Double-click downloaded file to install. Reboot after install may be required
> CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD CMD PROMPT REGISTRY ENTRY <
If the windows method above does NOT work for you…
Then you may have to copy all contents from the Flash Programming Tool \ DOS folder to the root of a Bootable USB disk and do the dump from DOS
( DOS command: " FPT.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin " )
Also - download the following package, and run the command below from each versions folder that directly contains it’s exe. Before doing this (And above), make sure you have secure boot disabled in BIOS, any BIOS password removed, and TPM/Encryption disabled.
Once done, copy the entire folder somewhere, delete everything but any created vars.txt and then repackage this and send to me, this way all created vars.txt remain in place in the folders of the version that created them.

H2OUVE.exe -gv vars.txt
@Lost_N_BIOS if i did this, can you unlock my bios?
---------------------------
@MagneticMayhem Thanks for you Reply and help, but i did this right now and won’t work. Do you have password set, secure boot configured? Can you share some screens of each tab from your bios?
I had secure boot configured. And i had a supervisor password, but i am pretty sure the pass isn’t required to do what i had done.
@MagneticMayhem same here. The option “password on boot” is configured to you or you just setup the “supervisor password”?
-------------------------
@Lost_N_BIOS ,
I did the steps above, follow my DUMP:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1PA6Rsqx…iew?usp=sharing
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I created a new Topic in this forum to this request… https://www.win-raid.com/t7664f54-Request-Advanced-menu-Acer-Predator-Helios-PH.html#msg129134
I only had supervisor password, and i hadnt selected the password on boot.
@MagneticMayhem
Didn’t work here this combination of keys, my model is PH315-52-7210 and my bios version is 1.12 (Insyde 5.0)
@Vernnon - Yes, I will check your thread
But I need more than your dump, I need to know what error you got at #2, and I need your vars dump too (if not already included in package you uploaded)
Hi!
I am wondering if this key combination actually works?
I wouldn’t mind for myself if it’s only for one boot into the BIOS that this will work (and not permanently) as I’m only trying to change my video memory size.
My bios version is InsydeH20, v1.22, 31/10/2018.
hello thanks for the tutorial, could you please help me for the PH315-52-78VL
I have a Predator Helios Neo 16 with an RTX 4050 and i5-13500HX, will this method work for it?
