[Request] Unlocked ROG Strix Z690-A Gaming Wifi D4 BIOS

Hello,

I would like to unlock my BIOS as to show all advanced settings that are hidden on default like overclocking and more.
I have some experience with doing this on MSI boards, but Asus uses .cap files and i dont know how to change the capsule header so that it will flash the bios.

I also tried crossflashing the already offered z790 bios of the same motherboard but im also unable to do that.

Can someone mod it for me or point me in the right direction how to do it with asus bios .cap?

I want to use the latest BIOS version.

The mb model has USB BFB feature, so its easy to flash mod files, perform an fpt backup of the current system, full spi or bios region at least.

So read, learn, do it yourself.

Thanks a lot the information you gave me was very useful. 1st attempt was a semi-bricked mobo, fortunately bios flashback still worked.
I guess ill try again.
