It redirects me to the ASUS Shop* for some reason.
In any case, which modules did you use? The ones from here: Intel EFI “SataDriver”/“GopDriver” BIOS Modules ?
I can see the GUID changes in UBU, but I cannot figure out what went wrong.
yes m8 I did. The asus post just confirmed the missing module issue was gone with the BIOS I redid.
Thanks I will check it out.
Hope SoniX can tell us if he redid the BIOS from scratch or used mine as a base.
I tried the modified 1801 bios you posted on 12/13/15 and my sata drive are still not installed in the storage config. I have CSM enabled and boot in legacy mode but I have the Intel (R) Rapid Storage driver as well as the legal option rom at boot.
are you 100% sure you have connected them to ports 1 to 6 as they are not laid out in order.
I’m sure all drive are attached to the Intel ports. No problem when flashing back to 1701 or 1601.
Hello Community,
when can we expect a working version of UBU tool ( X99 ) ?
The Problem is the AMI MMTool?
When comes a new Version?
-is there already something known ?
Can anyone explain me how to perform a microcode update and INTEL MEI Update?
Here you go! As always, latest versions of modules and microcode.
Intel EFI RAIDriver 14.8.2.2397
Intel Gigabit UNDI 0.0.09
OROMS:
Intel RST OROM 14.8.2.2397
Intel Boot Agent CL 0.1.06
Microcode 36(2015/08/10)
Realtek module removed.
R5E.zip (6.11 MB)
That was fast, I was starting to read up on updating the other modules and you replied
Cheers m8.
Original post updated
Hello Unb0rn,
is there also an new INTEL MEI Firmware included?
Which Version?

Nope, it’s too hard to embed it into BIOS and it’s much easier to update it manually (just go to MEI section of that forum and search for 9.1.x MEI Updates) It is really easy, you’ll have to run BAT and that’s it.
After updating to the new bios with the file provided some post above i cant boot anymore from my 950pro ssd. There is no windows boot manager in the boot window off the bios
Anyone know a solution or has the same error.?
EDIT: after some testing and lost off different bios settings i found the cause of the boot failure. When i Set the main sata ports to RAID-mode (original ACHI-mode) it fails to boot and goes straight to the bios main page. Are there know problems with the raid modules? I have 2 HDD drives in raid on the first 2 sata intel ports.
I’ve downloaded the 1902 bios from the Asus site and modded by myself and no issues at all. I’ve the 950 Pro too.
Do u have the sata settings set to raid? it is then when my 950pro is acting weird
My Samsung 950 pro works fine with MOD-BIOS 1902 as boot drive. No problems.
MM69
Sorry I have not b
put this BIOS on yet, I took out the 950 and put that in my laptop, I will be cloning my OS onto the pm951 I have so I will let you know.
2 kids and a wife giving me stuff to do so it may take a while.
I have flashed the original not modded bios straight from the asus servers and can confirm it is also broken there;
When setting the option:
sata controller 1 mode selection
from AHCI to RAID i cant boot from 950pro SSD
is there a way to contact asus about this problem?
