@chinobino could you show me your cpu’s pin map? I also have gigabyte mainboard Z170x gaming 5, i want to run g5400. But i don’t know what the best pin map for my mainboard. Thank every one!
Yeah! I was success with gigabyte cpu’s pin map from @svarmod. Special thank @svarmod , @revlaay and every one. I’m using pentium G5400, but i’m affraid if i get i5 8400. Can any one using mainboard gigabyte and i5, i7 help me?
same as your g5400.
Thanks revlaay for this awesome tool.
It’s working with my MSI Z270i (itx) and Intel 9400F.
Everything works perfect. Thank you.
Thx @revlaay for the great tool. I try my Asus rog g20ci desktop pc with h270 motherboard and it works nicely with i5 9400f.
But i9 9900k its not working, splash logo appear when turn on the Pc, then stuck n freeze, cannot do anything. I restart splash screen logo appear, then pc keep restart, over and over again. After all effort, finally I manged to get this i9 9900k working by disabling the hyper threading, so its only 8thread. Any idea how to make this i9 9900k work with HT enable?
hi,
Here is the modified BIOS file using CoffeeTime and UBU. I have not tested it, but I expect it to work.

You might want to change that to 11.7.0.1229 or 11.7.0.1261
Thx @haragu , im really appreciate it. But your modded bios was exactly same as what i did, except I used ME 11.7.0.1229, its not working, splash logo appear when turn on the Pc, then stuck n freeze. I have to disabled HT and run with just 8 thread to make it work, it wont work with 16 thread.
yep, still have some limit by vendor specific module, disable boot logo may get some info or not.
yes, beware some asus bios version (3805/1205) won’t get pcie patch, should use older version.

Do you know how to disable the boot logo? ht enabled bios makes keyboard doesnt work so i cant do anything when boot. I tried to edit the bios as well with mmtool but cannot find oemlogo file in the bios.
BTW I saw in asus forum someone did use 9900k on the same board with HT enabled, try to contact him but he doesn`t to be online in that forum anymore.
Hi, I have plan to buy an I5-9400f CPU. I’ve read some comments said that It works well with this mod, even without CPU pin mod.
Could you please confirm I5-9400f without CPU pin mod?
Yes, i already tried remove the nvme ssd, result still the same.
Could you please confirm I5-9400f without CPU pin mod?
Yes i mine can work without cpu pin mod. maybe someone can tell, is it safe without cpu pin mod? my i9 9900k(with ht disabled) also working with or without cpu pin mod.
@Doomslayer if you need BIOS with boot logo disabled, please link me to your mod BIOS and I can disable for you
Hello and really thank you for this great utility.
So I tested this software with the latest version of my motherboard to buy a 9900k (Gygabite Gaming 5 z270x).
I would like to test this bios before buying it. Can you confirm that this will work at first with my 7700k ?
Can you confirm that the HT 9900k will be fully functional with my motherboard ?
I do not think the utility of my motherboard accepts the bios as an update is there a utility to flash the bios ?
Thanks in advance and really sorry for my english =)
Hi, guys!
Looking for confirmation that MSI Z270 Gaming Plus will work with 8700
On main page i found that “2. MSI board bios can support up 8 threads.” in known issues
but on previous page one of users confirm that 9400f works perfect on msi mobo… i’m a little frustrating
Can i isolate the contacts using duct tape? ot it just melt down under heavy load?
Can i connect pind by chocolate foil?
In near future i want to buy Z370/90 chipset mobo so i cant afford to do some modification permanent
Thank you!
