Hi all,
thanks for sharing this tool. I want to change the BIOS logo and this might be the right tool for such.
Nevertheless, I am facing an issue, since I can’t find any BIOS file with the .fd extention…
I already tried to change the .bin extention into a .fd extention, but the file is not recognized by the tool…
Would please appreciate if someone could help…
Thanks!

Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
Which extension has your BIOS? Are you sure, that it is the "pure" uncompressed BIOS file and not an Installer (as *.exe file)?

@Fernando
Thanks for your prompt feedback and for the welcome message!
Well, that might be one of my problems, i.e., maybe I’m not searching for the .fd file into the proper folder… Can you kindly inform, what would be the right place/folder for searching this .fd file?
In case it helps, I just used the tool “Universal BIOS Backup Toolkit” and I was able to backup a .rom file (Type: Others BIOS /ACPI 2.0, Vendor: HP, Version: M84 Ver. 01.48, Size: 8192k)
Thanks in advance!
i can load the file but i have no GUID listings?

Doesn’t matter. I figured it out.
After some research, I found the x64 version of H2OEZE 100.00.03.04 in a Chinese forum.
I noticed more stability compared to the x86 version and I didn’t have any crashs. But unfortunately version 100.00.03.04 remains the most recent publicly.

@walkman8196 Thanks for compiling all these awesome tools in once place and keeping them up to date!
I can’t translate the text below precisely because of my poor English, so I just attached the text I once post in Chinese forum written in original language. And the link at the bottom is all the latest version of Insyde H20 tools I can find last year.

@Lost_N_BIOS Can you give me a new Lenovo Variable Tools? And I want to get H2OEZE version 200.00.xx.xx ,thank you very much.
This looks great! I have a problem though. No microcode, Is that normal? I have a HP Envy DV7 with CPU 306A9, used Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 to dump the bios, loaded it into InsydeH2O_03.04. It shows an empty microcode, so I press add and select cpu306A9_plat12_ver00000021_2019-02-13_PRD_A8DF9213 and it throws an error. “Error”
also, I’m not quite sure where to get a .fd and the bios file that comes with the HP Flash update tool is a .bin that is “unsupported” with InsydeH20.
Hi Lost_N_BIOS.
Thanks for your help here.
Do you have an Alienware M17x R4 A15 unlocked BIOS please?
If not is there an easy guide for how to do it please? I don’t want to insert any specific codes just remove all locks.
Thanks a lot!
could someone please upload a mirror of this? baidu wants to install applications first.

Thank you, but when opening 2 MB rom files it still freezes on Setup Menu - we just wanted to unlock advanced menu, UEFI, etc.
There’s a version compatible with 2 MB rom BIOS files?
