Big thanks, i test it tonight!:-)…Back soon!..

Hi Sweet Kitten,

I had to find with my programmer, the dump was read incorrectly!

Can you do me the MOD for the bios again!?

Here is the new link:

Can you also look again if the bios looks coherent overall! As you know it!?

Why do you say so?

I really wanted to play it safe and had made several attempts at reading the SPI! In retrospect, I found that the dump reading brought some errors. I have now found the source of the error and provide you again the dump. I would like the Bios flashing works and the laptop turns on again:-)

I do not understand, both files have the correct structure.

I had done many dump readings and compared the previously read dump. Some errors appeared. I have an example picture of the dump I sent you and the last one of me! As I said I found the source of the error!

Here the Compare Picture:

Hi Sweet Kitten,.

I tried the last mod dump from you! It does not work…
But I can assure you that the last dump from me works 100%. I flashed the laptop with this old dump, it turns on again!
Do you know any other way to manipulate the bios or is there anything else to consider!???

If the notebook does not turn on, it means that there is a protection of some kind in the BIOS. I’ll see what I can do with it and let you know.

EDIT: I tried my best. Check this one.

I tested the last MOD Bios of, it also does not work!
It always shows the same behavior: The fans go on briefly and this repeats itself again and again!

Maybe your modification is too much!? Maybe even first goes a step by step plan! What do you think of it, goes something like this, is something conceivable!?

Only to exclude errors: You used the last dump from me, right!?

Go ahead and change something insignificant in the dump. I’m sure the behavior will be the same.

Right.

Anyways, I’m confused and don’t know what to do about it.

Is there anything else you haven’t thought of?

Have you ever made a bios for this model for someone else?

Is there perhaps another way to disable the Secure Boot?

No. And that’s exactly why I decided to give it a go. If I only knew what would happen, I’d prefer to give you control over secure boot in a different way.

It’s getting late. I’ll tell you how to do it tomorrow.

What do you mean exactly!? Can tell me with pleasure tomorrow:-)

Good night and thanks for your help and support!

Until tomorrow…

I’ve got old Acer Aspire ES1-131 and I was able to turn off Secure Boot with this method.

I meant script for Windows. It uses PowerShell capabilities.

ZYL.zip (1.75 MB)

Yes, I also found the variant today when I searched in the bios! Thank you and Sweet Kitten!

With the Bios setting and the password it works without modding the Bios!

Ok, what does it do exactly!?
