don’t use the Norton crap AV. Anyway is a false positive
Yeah your right Nortons crap. Got it for free otherwise not pay for it. Good to know its a false positive. Thanks.
@ davidm71
I use ESET NOD32, no problem.
Different antivirus behave differently. I can assure you that in this package there is no virus threat.
windows defender didn’t tell is a virus neither
I can’t believe I have been using Norton. What a piece of garbage. It just removed key files from Ubu because theres not much history online in other words since its not familiar with the Ubu tools package it blacklists the files.
Nortons worse than my mother. Don’t do this. Don’t do that. I’m installing Eset Smart security now.
what about XHCI intel modules? I have a problem with my bios on OSX, the XHCI will freeze the machine, it works on Windows. Maybe there’s an updated module for USB XHCI too?
Dear SoniX, I don`t know if this problem is related to the Uefi Bios Updater. I have an asus maximus viii with z170 chipset, and updated all things possible with UBU the other day. If I go to the device administrator–>Firmware–>Update drivers, an update called Lenovo H110 system Firmware 0.30 appears. I don´t apply it because i think it´s dangerous. So this is a windows problem or it´s causesd by using the UBU tool? I don´t have any lenovo hardware…
@ jlmcr87
This is a problem in OS Windovs 10.
For what it’s worth, on my VIII HERO I don’t see this running Win10.
This is what the update for Windows 10.
Looking through the various forums, it appears at all, since the beginning of April. While it is seen on Asus and MSI (9 and 10 series chipsets).

Hello there
I use the Asus Maximus V Gene z77 + 3570, which is a better version of Microcode for this motherboard?

Hello, since microcodes version 1B and version 1C do match latest Microsoft patches (hotfix) for the genuine Intel processor and if you do not intend for overclocking, it seems the best to apply (at least for a Windows 7 x64 bit).
If you like to overclock then perhaps you could try the version 19 for Ivy Bridge.
UBU does tell it during the process when you upgrade the microcode, both for Ivy B and Sandy B which are the best for overclock (see pics):
Regards.
Thank you, Which do you use now
i guess amd cpus are left out of this best overclocking feature…>_<
