8086-156F Intel CL Lan PXE 0.1.10
EDIT: Also, a “Realtek USB Ethernet Controller (xHCI) v2.07AD (05/24/16)” which Extractor failed to name properly. Maybe it’s useful? No idea when it comes to such modules.
If the v15 modules are for 100 series and up then who here has tested them on anything lower. I think they messed up my mobo. currently rmaing
Hi!
At the moment i have on my Q45 chipset with 82567lm3 LAN the Option ROM 1.3.65. Could I install the latest CL 0.1.09 too without problem? (Baord has 5.2 management enginge)
@lgrootnoob :
No mainboard has no be RMAed after having flashed a BIOS, which contains a not usable Intel RAID ROM or EFI RaidDriver module. Just reflash a BIOS, which contains a matching Intel RAID ROM/EFI module and all will be fine again.
@ SoniX:
I don’t know. Maybe Realtek only posts the EFI module and the OROM is given to OEMs.
Regarding UBU, does that small addition look interesting to you?
Can be added easily if you like it:
2
3
4
if %mea%==1 (
echo 9 - ME Analyzer
for /f "tokens=1-5" %%a in ('MEA\MEA.exe bios.bin -extr -adir -disuf') do (echo %%a %%c %%d)
)
Token 5 (%%e) is the Date but I haven't included it above
@ plutomaniac
Cool! Thank You, Now add.
Edit:
Supported with MEA 1.5.8 and above.
Are you serious? I flashed it about 5 or 6 times, on both chips, each time verifiying TWICE and using the bios from the asus website and my original backup. they also all sha256 the same. the board acts the same way as if there is no chip in it every time just turning on for half a second then off and doing that constantly.
EDIT: I’m pretty sure it has to do with letting the chips get so hot being backwards in the ch341a. It’s been a couple months since ive flashed with it and I had forgot some things. I checked the solder joints under the board for the bios sockets and they looked fine.
- OROM Inrel Lan Boot Agent CL v0.1.10 How can I upgrade it?
any info about it?
Ubu 1.5.8 no update orom!!
Thanks
Regards
It can not be.
If the BIOS on Aptio5 platform and OROM is in store GUID A032, then - yes. In this case, you have to update yourself with the help of UEFITool,
Please, but i don´t know all proccess.
Can you help me please?.
Thanks
Regards.
@ el_zari
Let me see the BIOS file.
@ el_zari
Ok.
1) Open the BIOS and look at MMTool DevID LAN.
We see that there are 2 LAN DevID 1559 and 15B8.
2) Generate DevID in the new version
(all files in ("Modules\LAN")
2
romhdr.exe -v 0x8086 -d 0x1559 -i IntlOromCL.LOM -o Lan1559.lom
romhdr.exe -v 0x8086 -d 0x15b8 -i IntlOromCL.LOM -o Lan15b8.lom
3) Open the BIOS and search at UEFITool
Search patterm "5043495286805915" for DevID 1559
Search patterm "504349528680B815" for DevID 15B8
4) For each file, choose the right mouse button menu item "Replace body …" and select the desired file generated in step 3
5) Save and Exit
Thanks

@el_zari
Check:OROM VBIOS 1043 for Z170D DevID 406
OROM LAN Boot Agent GE replace DevID 1559 to 1539 for compatibility
Edit:
Remove file
Thanks a lot!!
- I overwrite in ubu modules 2 files you attached.
When I try to update:
|addpics|9p5-2-030d.jpg,9p5-3-853b.jpg|/addpics|
@ el_zari
2 file that I attached, should be updated using UEFITool.
There should be some problem with the OROM 8086 1559 for Z170 Deluxe: after replacing it with your files, UBU seems it as Boot Agent GE instead of Boot Agent CL; version goes from 0.1.05 to 1.5.79 and EFI switches from Gigabit to Pro/1000.
Another question, please: I updated all modules and microcode from UBU, replaced VBios, legacy Raid Rom, and the 2 LAN OROMs: is there other things that I can update?
Thanks!
