UBU 1.32 cannot update “OROM Intel Boot Agent GE” for boards with this module in bios and realtek lan.
I dont’t know why some board with realtek gbit lan have intel boot agent included, but there are quite few of them.

@Jest
Download again.

Well it works now

I don’t know if you have these so here:

Skylake vBIOS oROM v9.0.1026
Skylake GOP EFI v9.0.1031

SKL 9.0.1026 & 9.0.1031.rar (64.9 KB)

Hello,

Which one do you recommend for a 7 Series Chipset?

Even where it was, but thanks anyway. :slight_smile:
It remains only to find scripts BSF for Skylake.

@ ezy:
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!

Please look into the start post of >this< thread.

Regards
Dieter (alias Fernando)

But there’s no v13.1.0.1058 version in UBU neither v11.2.0.1006

Both are Intel RAID driver versions, whereas the UBU tool updates Intel RAID ROM and EFI RAID BIOS modules.
When you read the linked start post carefully, you will find the Intel RAID ROM resp. RaidDriver module versions, which matches the best the recommended Intel RAID driver version.

Thanks Fernando

@SoniX

I see a lot of attention for Intel Lan modules. Here is how to sort the things out. For OROM modules it is easy as a pie, just use Z.version.bat -> file.lom romscan pnp. Look the following in the output:

romscan.png

Those are the supported devices. For names you can look them in the PCI database. If you need the official Intel list, double pie. Just use Z.version.bat -> BootIMG.FLB oromilan. You will get something like this:

ilan.png

Take the name of the needed module. Go to OROMpy and open #List_IDs.txt, then search for that name, see the official supported devices bellow it. Please note that Intel is using lesser IDs than there are inside the OROM, probably they don’t test all the supported devices.This can also be applied to EFI drivers, as those “unknown unknown” are compressed EFI. Apart from the modules I also extract the sections with names. The counter is not the same because the first section is Combo rules, so you have to add +/-1 to get the right file. For instance, section 12 is EFI 6.8.05, which gives nr 11 or “8086-108B Intel unknown unknown.bin” as the corresponding file. Search for that name and you have the IDs. If you want to work with the compressed modules, use GOPupd or UEFIRomExtract.

If you want for EFI modules, check the attached files. I have extracted and verified the supported IDs. The names can be extract with Z.versionbat -> file.efi/ffs text 5. You will have to reverse the names or the IDs to somehow match the two lists. The PCI database can be used again to map those IDs to actual names. If you want this association straight from Intel EFI files, I think I can provide it, just let me test some things.

Intel EFI Lan ID_and_Names.rar (37.2 KB)

@SoniX

Here is the list with names and IDs in one file, just as Intel wrote it. I had some troubles with older 4.x.xx versions that don’t use a direct offset (thus no automatic extraction, only manual is possible), but the rest should be fine. As you can see, the current situation with 3 EFI files is needed, as none of them overlap all devices.

Hello The Master, it seems there’s a typo in your post because you wrote that you have an ASRock Z77 Extreme 6 but in UBU info there’s the CPU micro-code of LGA 1150 CPU.
I imagine you have an ASRock Z87/97 Extreme 6…is this correct? :slight_smile:

EDIT by Fernando: Unneeded fully quoted text removed (to save space within this big thread). Tip: It is better to address the post directly to the related Forum member by using the “@ <nickname>:” option.

@ The Master
You do not have to choose update Intel LAN as on your motherboard no Intel LAN Controller.

That is Z87/Z97 board. It has intel and realtek lan.

Specify the exact model of the motherboard.

The previous collection of SKL uCodes posted by Lordkag lacks one microcode (the latest v30). I have uploaded a new pack.

Also, judging from the SPI image the platform 22 uCode was extracted from, it’s very likely it’s for QS/ES Skylake cpu.

Shame on me i mixed the two boards. I have a "MSI Z97M-G43 (MS-7924)" and that was from the UBU Bios :slight_smile:

On my other Board all is ok and clear.
I correct my Post sorry for the Mistake.
