This device can not start. (Code 10))
What should I do??
@JagerNubz :
Please give me the HardwareIDs of your on-board Intel USB 3.0 Controller and the related Hub device (right click onto it > "Properties" > "Details" > "Property" > "HardwareIDs").

Yes, thanks for having posted it.
The screenshot verifies, that you have tried to install an Intel USB 3.0 driver onto a Texas Instruments USB 3.0 Controller. That doesn’t work!
You can find the latest Texas Instruments USB 3.0 Controller drivers within the start post of this thread.
I tried with the files that you say but it doesn´t work. I was searching on the internet for the drivers but I can´t found them.
eXtensible Texas Instruments USB 3.0 - 0.96 (Microsoft) What should I do? Thx for helping
The Texas Instruments USB 3.0 drivers definitively do support your on-board TI USB 3.0 Controller. That means, that the driver should work.
Questions:
1. Which driver package did you use?
2. How did you try to get the driver installed?
3. Which OS are you running?
4. Do you have any problem with the Microsoft driver? If yes, which one?
1.- I found on internet this page that contains the package (http://semantic.gs/texas_instruments_usb…driver_download)
2.- I tried in the same way like the first step of Intel (Use a disk) but it didn´t work so I tried the way “Search” but also it didn´t work.
3.- Windows 10 64 bits.
4.- What do you mean with the problems with the Microsoft driver?
If you are not able to get any original Texas Instruments USB 3.0 driver installed, your OS Windows 10 x64 will use the generic in-box USB 3.0 driver, which is from Microsoft (as the "texas_instruments_usb_30_extensible_host_controller_0096_microsoft_driver" you have downloaded).
Or are you not able to use the TI USB 3.0 ports at all?
When I used something that is USB 3.0 Windows send me a message "The device can NOT run on 3.0 mode" and it runs like a 2.0
@Fernando ,
Do you think Intel USB 3.0 v2.0.0.5 (Braswell,Broadwell,Skylake) (sation-drivers) can be ‘universalised’ ?
Is it a new “branch” ?
It may be possible, but I don’t think, that would make any sense.
This "Intel(R) USB 3.0 Host Controller Adaptation Driver" (whatever the word "adaptation" means) has been designed by Intel just for Windows 8.1 x64 and only supports the Intel USB 3.0 Controllers with the DeviceIDs DEV_9D2F, DEV_A12F and DEV_22B5.
Although I am using a Broadwell CPU, my USB 3.0 Controller is not supported.
Yes, but this driver is obviously not able to manage by its own any "Intel(R) USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller".

Hi all!
After update to Windows 10 AU on my Braswell laptop I can no longer install modded Intel USB drivers. Certificate import seems to be working as I can see it in MMC tool, but I get the message that signature can’t be verified (code 52 as I remember). So basicly I’m stuck with MS driver and useless 64GB pendrive which can’t be recognised (thx Intel and Microsoft…).
However on my Z77 system and on another laptop with i3-4005U CPU everything is working as it should with modded 4.0.5.55. The only difference is that I updated those PC’s, but the Braswell one was refreshed after update.
Now I will install Windows 10 1511, install drivers and then update to 1607 like the other PC’s. I will let you know if this works.
EDIT:
I found something like this in an interview (https://www.osr.com/blog/2015/07/24/ques…driver-signing/):
So it turns out I had Secure Boot enabled which was fine before, but maybe not so much in Anniversary update. I disabled it just in case (I’m angry I didn’t check this before…).
@Senthine :
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum and thanks for your report!
Thanks for the info. I will check it myself very soon and hope, that I can find a way to solve the problem with Microsoft’s advanced driver signature requirements.
Thanks. Maybe you should wait until I have offered the mod+signed variants of the latest "pure" Intel USB 3.0 drivers v4.0.6.60.
Regards
Dieter (alias Fernando)
Right, I will wait for the newer drivers. In the meantime I will install Windows 15.11 just to be ready.
Regards
Raphael
EDIT:
I can confirm that turning off Secure Boot let me install the new drivers without a problem on 1607. However installing version 4.0.5.55 on Windows 15.11 required me to install hub driver first and controler driver as second. Weird.
Anyway, Fernando, thank You for this great work. Without those drivers I could throw my 64 GB pendrive in the bin (and who knows what else in the long run…).
EDIT 2:
I had to revert back to 4.0.5.55 because USB 3.0 port in my Braswell laptop stopped reading some of my devices (2.0 port red them all). Now I can throw anything at it and it works.

Update of the Start Post
Changelog:
- new: 32/64bit Intel USB 3.0 Drivers v4.0.6.60 mod+signed by me at 08/04/2016
- removed: 32/64bit Intel USB 3.0 Drivers v4.0.5.55 mod+signed by me
Notes:
- As Senthine already has mentioned, users with a clean installed v1607 (“Anniversary Update”) of Win10 should make sure, that they have turned off the “Secure Boot” option within the BIOS, before they try to get any of my mod+signed drivers installed.
- Meanwhile I have tested the installation of the 64bit mod+signed Intel USB drivers v4.0.6.60 onto my Z170 chipset system running a fresh installed Win10 v1607 (“Anniversary Update”).
Here is the proof, that the installation went flawlessly:

Good luck with the freshly modded and signed newest Intel USB 3.0 drivers!

@Fernando
I have installed INTEL USB 3.0 modded on Sabertooth X99 W10 x64 v1607 build 14393 to replace the native drivers.
Here is a global screen.
Seems all is OK and works fine.
However, the "PCI Bus" driver update was not done because W10 warms to do not. It remains native.
Is it a problem ?
I don’t know. Which driver is the device running now and why did you install the USB 3.0 driver for the device named "Concentrateur MTT USB 2.0"?
