help! i don’t know what to do. how can i have access to my computer if all the usb ports are not working? i was so eager on installing the driver and so dumb to fully read the instruction carefully.

Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
There is no need to buy a new mouse and a new keyboard. You may just need 2 USB > PS/2 adapters.

i didn’t know that there exist something like that adapter. thanks for the quick reply. btw would this issue also solve the being stucked to log in screen using microsoft account for about 30-40 secs? because i was looking for a fix and someone posted a direct link to this site…
EDIT by Fernando: Unneeded parts of the fully quoted post removed (to save space)
I don’t know it - just wait and see after having solved your current problem.
thank you sir!
Hi sir, if ever i do a clean install of windows 10 would the fix be remove also or not?
Yes, a clean install of Win10 will reset your system to the origin.
By the way: What makes you so sure, that it is the Win10 in-box MS USB 3.0 driver, which has caused your problem?
The fact, that there are not so many Win10 users with a problem like you, indicates, that something else is wrong with your personal Win10 installation or hardware configuration.
well i was googling for a fix regarding the microsoft log in stucked issue and on one of the site that i visited someone posted that the culprit was the extensible host control driver and doing the fix which is he put the link here solved the problem he was encountering though i’m also experience intermittent connection loss on my front usb when charging my phone. so i was hoping that applying this fix would solve the issue?
I was confused for this issue for a long time, until I read this article.
So I just wanna say thank you very much!!!
You are better than intel and microsoft.
I read a lot of people complain about this on their forum and they just give some useless answers but doing nothing.
after all , thank you!

Welcome at Win-RAID Forum and thanks for your feedback!
Enjoy Intel’s USB 3.0/3.1 drivers!
Dieter (alias Fernando)
Hi, I just found that when I use this driver that UASP will be turn off.
Most of USB 3.0 issues were happened in win8 and above,which are also Microsoft started support UASP in windows.
So maybe older machines can not be running in USB 3.0 with UASP? It’s just my guess…
@ all:
Update of the Start Post

Thanks to Station-Drivers for the source package.
Enjoy it!

Having the “must be on the latest/greatest” personality as I do, I took the dive to update my Windows 10 to go test/benchmark platform!
Good Note: ASMedia USB driver update went without an issue and I do see/feel a performance increase to my to go platform and my other attached backup/benchmark drive.
Good Note2: Renesas USB driver update also went without an issue
Bad Note: Intel USB driver update (modified since OG is Win7 only), required me to redo my drive It ended up with “inaccessible boot device”.
Stubborn news: I plugged it into a different system after redoing the install that has a Renesas USB 3 (as noted above) and Intel USB 3, once again, after the Intel driver update, back to “inaccessible boot device”, yes tried plugging it into a USB 2.0 port even while doing it, same outcome
@Fernando : I dont know if its just me, but different systems and a fresh install still proved fatal, might want to note up there “DO NOT USE WITH WINDOWS 10 TO GO”, sure, only enterprises like the one I work for and others might be using it, but hey, maybe someone else is as ornery as me when it comes to these things and might want to avoid the pitfall :X
EDIT: also, thanks as always Fernando for all the work collecting, updating, modding, consolidating, ect ect that you do, even if you aren’t the source sometimes!
@Net7 :
Thanks for your report.
It obviously has not been a good idea to install the modded Intel USB 3.0 drivers onto a portable Win10-To-Go USB Flash Drive.
As a consequence of your report I have added the related information to the start post of this thread (inclusive a link to your report).
Thanks again!
I hope I am in the right forum. I have a Xiaomi Mi book and I cannot install Windows 7. Just before selecting the drive it says: a required cd/dvd drive device driver is missing. I read the solution is trying on a USB 2 port but this laptop only has USB 3 and USB C ports.
I cant find the motherboard’s website, so cant get usb 3 drivers. What can I do?
@benparker :
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
You can find out the manufacturer and the model of the on-board USB 3.0 Controller by running the Device Manager, doing a right-click onto the listed USB 3.0 Controller and choosing the options "Properties" > "Details" > "Property" > "HardewareIDs".

So after that I should do a good search for it? Is there any way to extract those drivers from Win 10?
Then I would have to inject it in the usb iso https://downloadcenter.intel.com/downloa…Creator-Utility
Yes, which VendorID and DeviceID did you find?
No, that wouldn’t make any sense.
Yes, provided, that your on-board USB 3.0 Controller has the VendorID DEV_8086.
I updated the drivers using a PS/2 keyboard because all other usb ports are intel controlled ones (I think). Now when I installed the modded drivers under windows 10, when I plug a device in a usb 3.0 port, it gets detected in the device manager and disappears again over and over again.
The usb 3.0 ports are not usable anymore until I rollback the driver.
What to do?
@FPSUsername :
Welcome at Win-RAID Forum!
Which is the DeviceID of your on-board Intel USB 3.0 Controller and why did you install my mod+signed Intel USB 3.0 drivers?
Simple answer: Use the Win10 in-box USB 3.0 driver.
