@Nathan :
Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum and thanks for your positive feedback. It is fine, that you found the reason and the solution for your problem yourself.
Enjoy the USB 3.0 drivers and the Forum!

@egozi :
All Intel USB 3.0 driver versions were designed by Intel for being used just with Win7. Since many Win10 users reported about problems with the Win10 in-box USB 3.0 drivers, I have customized the Intel drivers to make them compatible with Win8/8.1/10. According to my own experience and the feedback I got from many other users, these customized drivers are running fine with nearly all Intel Chipset systems from 8-Series up, but there is no guarantee. So you should blame neither Intel nor me, if they do not work with your specific system.
If you should have a problem with these drivers while running Win10, you should either stick with the Win 10 in-box MS USB 3.0 drivers or change the OS to Win7. In the latter case you can verify the usability of the original (not modded) Intel USB 3.0 drivers with your specific system.
So can you post the older version of the drivers that worked for me
Which older version of which driver do you mean?
You should know better than me, which driver worked for your system in the past.
5.0.0.32 works for me and i found it on my computer.
whats the next version published after that?
this drivers is not what you published. windows says its not a valid x64 driver. its probably not the modified version.
dont you have the packed version that was published here?
I found the 64bit mod+signed Intel USB 3.0 drivers v5.0.1.38 within my old backup. The related RAR archive is attached.
64bit DPInst Set with Intel USB 3.0+3.1 Drivers v5.0.1.38 mod+signed by Fernando.rar (2.32 MB)
this version works well - 100 mb/sec and no strange windows messages.
when i again tried to install the latest version published here right now i get this message:
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52" - it is very strange
is there a big difference between the latest version and the one you just sent me from your backup? are there any other versions newer to the one you just sent me?
I dont know the changelog and Intel hasn
t published it.
Yes, between the v5.0.1.38 and the currently latest v5.0.4.43 there exists a v5.0.3.42 dated 03/28/2017. Do you want to try the mod+signed variant of it?
Yes why not
Thanks
Here we are:
64bit DPInst Set with Intel USB 3.0+3.1 Drivers v5.0.3.42 mod+signed by Fernando.rar (2.32 MB)
works fine.
the conclusion is that only the latest driver has problems with my system and the certificate.
@egozi :
Thanks for your feedback, which may help other users with a similar issue.
Many users (inclusive myself) don’t have a problem with the latest mod+signed Intel USB 3.0 drivers. I have no idea regarding the reason of your issue.
Hi. Just registered to thank for a great work. I too had problems with the certificate on the last drivers, I kept receiving the message that windows 10 will not let me use unsigned drivers. Apparently, with the version you posted above it is working.
Thank you!
PS: Love Benidorm!
which system do you have? is it by any chance h81 maybe by asus?
@ricardjs :
Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum and thanks for your feedback!
It will be interesting to see, what happens with the next upcoming Intel USB 3.0 driver version.

when is it due to arrive?
I have no idea. You should ask Intel.
So just recently built a new PC stats listed below. I was hoping that intel would have more support for there newer motherboards but it appears that i am running into the same problem as with my old one. My issue is USB 3.0 transfer speeds that start around 45 mb/s and then dive down to around 12 mb/s about half way through. I have tried a few of your modded drivers with no change and was hoping that maybe you would have some insight for my specific setup.
My current System: MB: Asus Maximus IX code, CPU: Intel Core I5 7600K, MEMORY: GSKILL Trident z 3200ghz, DISK DRIVES: 1 240 GB Samsung Evo 840, 1 120 GB OCZ 3, 4TB 7200 RPM Western Digital, Graphics: EVGA geforce 1060 SSC, OS: Win 10 Pro x64

Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
Which USB ports have you tested and to which USB Controller do they belong? Which are the HardwareIDs of your on-board Intel USB 3.0/3.1 Controller (right-click onto it > “Properties” > “Details” > “Property” > “HardwareIDs”)?
Have you tested the function of the Intel USB Controller while running Win7 and after having installed the latest original USB drivers?
