Hello everybody!
I’m looking for some advice on enabling Resizable BAR on my Jingsha X99 D8 motherboard. I’ve already tried quite a few things, I edited the BIOS myself, added the RebarDxe.ffs driver using UEFITool, my disk is on a GPT partition, and my system runs in UEFI mode. I’ve enabled Above 4G Decoding, disabled CSM, and everything seemed fine. When I run ReBarState.exe, it finishes without any errors and appears to work. But after I restart the PC, it refuses to boot and only gives beep codes. The only way to recover is by removing the CMOS battery to reset the BIOS. Unfortunately, Resizable BAR still isn’t enabled after that.
I’m attaching a dump of my current BIOS in case it’s helpful.
Does anyone have any ideas on what might be going wrong or what I could try next?
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help! I can upload a dump of my current BIOS to a file hosting service if someone would be kind enough to take a look at it.
Hello and welcome!
First of all I want to state that Mir_Computers got his Jingsha X99-8D3 working with my modded Huananzhi BD4 BIOS in this post. In particular he used the “M2” region, but I would actually recommend that you follow Example 4 from this post instead and insert the ME region you already have (9.1.40).
But why am I talking about X99-8D3 when you have X99-D8? Well, I did a quick check with intel FITC. As expected, the ME region is identical between these two Jingsha boards. So probability is very high that you can get this working. Above 4G decoding and Rebar are enabled by default already in my modded BIOS.

I have now personally verified both BIOS and TPM on my Jingsha X99-D8I, see this post for more info.
