I opened up the laptop but the bios chip is too small to clamp with ch431a. Not able to make good contact. I also tried holding down the power button for roughly a minute but same problem.
I have the exact same model of laptop. Will this script work one my laptop?
It should if you successfully complete all the on-screen instructions. For this you just need to confirm the continuation several times by pressing any key and have PowerShell in the system (starting from Windows 7 it is installed by default).
- Run 'SET VARS.bat" and reboot.
- Run âFLASH.batâ.

I get this error while running the program
Did the uve.log file appear in the working directory? I want to know its contents.

I canât even reproduce the âNo argumentsâ error, so I donât understand how itâs possible. I see that arguments are specified, but even so, if they are not specified, it will give a list of available commands instead of an error.
Pleace, replace the file âH2OUVE-W-CONSOLEx64.exeâ in a folder with a new one.
uve.log content is welcome.

I am still getting this error!
At least this is a step forward, it did recognized the arguments.
Did you reboot the device before running âFLASH.batâ? It is important.
yes
Good to know, thank you.
Now it has been fixed. As always, I forgot which version of Intel Management Engine is used. Now the script works with version 15.
Sorry!
Itâs still giving the same error.

Ok, Iâve done a BIOS MOD for you manually: Morpheus9000.zip.
Absolutely in the same way as I did it for the 4 previous users.
Thank you
One strange thing happened here now, I did the 1 and 2 steps and my BIOS did the unlock very well. suddely my lapto frozen and I needed to open it to remove the battery. After that, i did a oficial biosupdate to roolback it, afraid that I touched somenthing wrong (i donât think so because i only changed things that I know). Now when i try to do the unlock, the set vars is ok, but the flash processes is given me this error:
C:\BIOS>â2. FLASH.BATâ
ECHO is on.

Press any key to continue . . .
You stated that you did a rollback. The current BIOS version probably has an outdated Intel ME. Do unlock on version 1.11.
