[Solution] Win 7/Win8.1 x64 Ryzen APU Video driver

(Canonkong updated this post, go to #1 download 20.11.3 version, no need download this older version.)
Canonkong updated the Mod Driver, but he don’t have time to update this post.

My friend uploaded (Vega IGP Mod Driver - 20.11.1) & (AMD Chipset Mod Driver - B6) , if Canonkong update this post, he will stop sharing.

Vega IGP:

When I install the Driver in my Windows 8.1, it asks me to restart, when restarting the system it does not start again, it stays in a black screen and it restarts remaining in a loop, someone help me, thanks.

Zen2 APU?

where can i find the patched drivers ?
Thanks in advance.

PS: Trying to install windows 7 on 3400G build.

You can find Pure drivers for Ryzen APU Video driver 20.11.3 with CCC & Pure drivers for mainboards and CPUs in this post page1, you can use Windows 7 Image Updater/UpdatePack7R2 to update your Win7 ISO merge the XHCI Driver Stack & NVMe update patch.

Tried again yesterday with the newest drivers provided in the first post (that were updated from my last try) - the result is a stylized mouse cursor on a white screen. Again. But this time, after a few seconds, the computer "dies" (black screen, fans are as low as they can be, everything is unresponsive)

Is there a way to install the driver using Radeon installation on Windows 8.1 ?. i got error 184 on mine. when i install the driver via device manager it works but when launching a game, its only blinking screen with cursor in it.

EDIT : Sorry, double post by mistake

@canonkong in another thread someone mentioned that you have a modified 64bit ACPI.sys. Could you please post a link for it here? I want to test it with these drivers, but managed to only get hold off the 32bit version of it. Thanks a lot

4650G can install the Ryzen APU 20.11.3 Video driver, enter the desktop black screen, but the host is normal!
4650G可以裝驅動,進入桌面黑屏,但是主機很正常!

X300 & 4650G USB Driver OK

I have a laptop (Lenovo Ideapad 15ARE05 AMD Ryzen 7 4800U with Radeon Graphics). I was only able to install VGA drivers as AMD did not provide a graphics driver for Win7. I was getting an Error 182 when trying to install AMD Software installer. However with the latest release driver on post 1 I was successfully able to install Adrenalin and the driver. But when I restart I see a grey screen for about 5 seconds then it flashes white then black. Everything seems to be working in the background it’s just the screen is black. I need to restart to safe mode and reinstall standard VGA graphics drivers in order to use the laptop again.

I used ddu in safe mode to uninstall any other drivers and also tried disabling driver signature check but neither worked.

Has anyone any idea what the issue may be here? Any help appreciated.

First of all, thank you for the excellent job.
I am debating between 3400g and 4650g and the only thing that is stoping me from 4650g is the no video driver for Win7.
Is there any chance such a driver to be developed in the future or its a lost cause?

having a running setup with windows 7 and bristol ridge apu on a300 deskmini am4 platform + nvme,
would it be difficult to swap the bristol ridge apu currently in with a newer 4650ge or 4750ge ryzen apu and still be able to have the windows 7 operating on the same platforum?

Hi; I am a new one (System: Medion RYzen 3200g);
and first: Thx to PatrickK and his prepared Win7 ISO (save a lot of time)

Some questions - maybe i skip over it; i duno…

Installing win7 Starter - without any Prob; only Prob; I lose the key of my Netbook/OS is overwriten with Linux/no sticker at the Box - can’t activate it with a regular win7 key

Installing win7 Home; at the first Install; there was a prob; at the 2nd, all was fine

I have in “Gerätemanager” (Sorry, i speak german); there was only 3 drivers missing;
fixed fast with iobit xxxxxx (driver update) and with snappy (missing drivers)

Now - the prob:
My GraphicCard is set as “Basic Display Driver” (incl. wit h all the Probs (Tearing/smearing etc.);
p.e a game need direct x; i can install it, but the gae said: This Card is not direct x ready

I read thes thread twice; and as i got; all users have it set as Vega8 automaticly

I went to AMD site (by google); the “automatic Driver updater for win7”; (run it as admin; ignore the "Secure driver warning)
but no Vega

I also tryed a way, as it was writen anywhere else: Remove old driver, install new one
No Vega

Google also lead me to a other Forum; where a link was, to a yandex site; with an “actual driver”;
install it… and…
Computer started; but “he” was always typing "e"

Means - i have to install new (No problem; i spend a lot of time with something like this)

Edit: After Restarting today it worked fine; and it shows it as Vega;
But
How can i fix now the tearing?
(Monitors: An old Philips 1440x90, and an actual Acer Full HD)

Also: it seems when the "Energy Saver / Screen is on)
he made a kind of “error” -All the Screen is “White snow” (the elder ones maybe still know it from tv; when u have no channel/Broadcast was switch off)

Can anybody help?
(Maybe in German by pn; cause english is not my profession)

THX

So; what do i made wriong???

Usb is working fine

Good afternoon everyone, I’m looking for the drivers for the ryzen 5 3400g for windows 7, can anyone help me with that? I’m new to the forum and I still don’t know things well, thanks in advance.

I speak Spanish so my English is not good, I hope you can understand me

Is there an update planned for the Ryzen 5 4650G integrated VEGA / Radeon card (for Win8.1 or Win7)?

Because I’m new I cant post image directly:

canonkong, thanks a lot of all your hard work on this.
In the 8th post you show a print screen of Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G driver running under Windows 7 - can we understand from that print-screen that the monitor was connected to the iGPU and that the driver worked as expected in this specific configuration?
if so - why isn’t 4750G mentioned in the first post?

I bet that was running with dGPU as 4000G APU can run Windows 7 fine without iGPU driver

But then you might as well go for a Zen 2 CPU instead of a APU.

I’m happy to report that everything seems to run well on my MSI B550M Mortar with 3400G running Windows 7 (installed directly to an NVMe drive).

I had an issue when connecting two monitors and duplicating the output (at one of the monitors only the upper part of the screen was diplayed).
I have modified the .inf files (this was the only change necessary for the 3400G) and installed various versions - 20.11.1 was the latest version that worked correctly for me without the issue.
