Whenever I install these Win7 compatible drivers on my 3400G the desktop works for about 3 seconds and then it freezes, never recovering. Sometimes just after installing the drivers it works just fine with no freezing after the first 10 seconds, where it freezes and then recovers with a windows message "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered" but when I restart the machine it freezes again irrecoverably. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
@canonkong
Looks like setting the RAM speed to just under 3133MHz causes it to consistently do the "display driver stopped responding and has recovered" upon startup now, however setting it to exactly 3200MHz causes it to freeze. I never would have guessed this was the problem, thanks
i succesfully installed the vega 8 drivers but i still get an error from Grand Theft Auto V:
error code 7002.1
the launcher was unable to find a mmultimedia adapter
is the author still here?
or more new drivers not to wait?
he said 4000 series APU will not work unless we modify the kernel, therefore no update for 4000 series in anytime soon.
And I guess there is no reason to update the driver if everything is working for 2000 & 3000 series.
badly
wanted to buy 4650g or 5600g
Looking at the Linux AMD iGPU driver and comparing the logic for 3000, 4000 and 5000 series it seems the differences are quite small.
It would obviously take a lot of work to make the change by hand by modifying the driver binary, but I donāt see any need to āmodify the kernelā (Windows Kernel?) nor do I see any place where canonkong actually said that.
Hi, I have Windows 7 system, with Ryzen 5 3400GE, and Corsair Vengeance 3200 DDR4, and drivers from here was the right solution for me. Before, I had a Ryzen 3 3200G, and works also fine, and stable.
Perhaps you can try to reconfigure Bios settings to default, make a fresh installation, and try it again. I donāt remember exactly the right procedure to get my system working, but isnāt it dificult. I only remember that I maintained the ethernet cable disconected anytime.
I hope will help you.
And he actually updated the driver at 14 July.
However there is no metion of 4000 series APU.
on which page is there a link to this driver?
Hi,
I got my Ryzen 5700G yerterday, for the sport I tried the 21.5.2 driver for Windows 7 that Iāve successfully modded for the Ryzen 3400G (I changed the Hardware ID associated with the 3400G to match the 5700G).
The 21.5.2 driver for Windows 10 supports the 5700G so I hoped the Windows 7 21.5.2 driver might have some relevant bits.
I tested it using the MSI B550M Mortar I successfully used with the 3400G.
Unfortunately the 5700G didnāt work with Windows 7. Iām either getting a black screen, or, in some cases, iām seeing a white screen on the monitor (connected via HDMI) and hearing the Windows welcome sound from the monitor speakers.
canonkong, Iāll be glad to test a modded 5700G iGPU driver for Windows 7 if you plan to give it a try.
Is there a 5600g vega7 windows 7 driver?
@smart70325 : Welcome to the Win-RAID Forum!
Since it is neither necessary nor useful to post the same request into more than 1 thread, I have deleted your other posts and the threads you had started about the same topic.
Good luck!

Hi @canonkong ,
Is there any Windows 8/8.1 gpu driver for the AMD 3020e (cpu) with AMD Radeon RX Vega 3 | AMD Raven Ridge (Ryzen 2000 APU) ?
https://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-3020e-ā¦s.484463.0.html
https://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeonā¦U.278652.0.html
Laptop itās HP Laptop 14s-fq0002ns
I think itās one of these IDs:
AMD15D8.1 = "AMD Radeonā¢ RX Vega 10 Graphics"
AMD15D8.2 = "AMD Radeonā¢ Vega 8 Graphics"
AMD15D8.3 = "AMD Radeonā¢ Graphics"
AMD15D8.4 = "AMD Radeonā¢ Graphics"
AMD15D8.5 = "AMD Radeonā¢ Graphics"
AMD15D8.6 = "AMD Radeonā¢ Graphics"
And also, do you know if it have USB-C with Displayport video out ?
Lot of thanks!
Regards
These are the IDS of the w10 driver .inf file I downloaded from Lenovo site:
https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/produā¦nloads/ds543460
[ATI.Mfg.NTamd64.10.0]
"%AMD15D8.1%" = ati2mtag_Picasso, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_15D8&SUBSYS_380517AA&REV_C1
"%AMD15D8.2%" = ati2mtag_Picasso, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_15D8&SUBSYS_380517AA&REV_C2
"%AMD15D8.3%" = ati2mtag_Picasso, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_15D8&SUBSYS_380517AA&REV_C4
"%AMD15D8.4%" = ati2mtag_Picasso, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_15D8&SUBSYS_380517AA&REV_CD
"%AMD15D8.5%" = ati2mtag_Picasso, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_15D8&SUBSYS_380517AA&REV_CE
"%AMD15D8.6%" = ati2mtag_Picasso, PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_15D8&SUBSYS_380517AA&REV_DF
I think the GPU of the 3020e is AMD15D8.5, if it can help you to determine if there is some modded driver for Windows 8 / 8.1 @canonkong
Found on another site ( http://ns3369637.ovh.net/index.php?optioā¦id=4104&lang=en ):
AMD15D8.1 = āAMD Radeonā¢ RX Vega 11 Graphicsā
AMD15D8.2 = āAMD Radeonā¢ Vega 8 Graphicsā
AMD15D8.3 = āAMD Radeonā¢ RX Vega 11 Graphicsā
AMD15D8.4 = āAMD Radeonā¢ Vega 8 Graphicsā
AMD15D8.5 = āAMD Radeonā¢ Vega 3 Graphicsā
AMD15D8.6 = āAMD Radeonā¢ Vega 3 Graphicsā
So the driver itās for AMD15D8.5 = āAMD Radeonā¢ Vega 3 Graphicsā
Thanks
In case anybody find this useful:
Iāve tested various Radeon drivers on my Ryzen 5700G and it seems 20.11.2 is the first driver release that has the necessary logic for the 5700G.
20.11.2 works on Windows 10 (after modifying the .inf file).
20.11.2 on Windows 7 produce a white background but I am able to see the cursor for a few seconds (including the spinning blue circle) - but after a few seconds the screen becomes black.
(20.11.1 on Windows 7 results in SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION BSOD)
p.s.
21.1.1-21.2.3 produce pink-ish output on both Windows 7 (instead of the aforementioned white screen) and Windows 10
a little problem with the USB port, it canāt detect 3.0 devices but it works on 2.0 devices.
Hey @canonkong , thanks for the updated driver, but it wont install properly for me. At the end it gives Error 205 ā Radeon Software Installation Completed Successfully but Windows May Have Reverted Your Driver Version During the Process.
Before proceeding to installation, Iāve ddu-ed the old driver (20.11.3) in safe mode and manually deleted all the remaining AMD folders.
Windows update is disabled and the option mentioned on the AMD website for this error is set to āNoā by default.
P.S. Iāve even tried with disabled internet connection and the error is still present.
