I know this is a support forum for problems of others, but would one or more of you guys be so kind to install my Windows 7 SP2.11 beta ISO with this native xHCI support on their pc on a third, or another, partition ? I ask this because I want to know if that unofficial native xHCI support that I try to integrate in my entire, future SP2.11 ISO release, which I currently work on, works on your younger systems, my time money is limited of course, my will not really, in that regard.
Donāt use chrome; doesnāt support FTP anymore at all.
In the folder one step up you can find my mobile slipstreaming folder, with those files in there everyone can create an ISO with custom drivers and/or updates, created all by myself, I think this is helpful.

I wonder if I can enable Resizable BAR/AMD Smart Access Memory with Win7 if I use manatails his UEFI hack?
I created and installed iso using your file, but I cannot activate aero.Freezes when trying to enable
how can enable aero?
yes
@datokonoko I assume you referr to me again.
Please use that function for adressing usernames, otherwise you annoy me right away.
I donāt know your hardware at all, but a first suggestion ist to ask you if you installed the graphics driver correctly.
@PatrickK Iām sorry for the inconvenience.
Is this the right way?
I think the graphics driver is installed correctly.
Hardware is Ryzen9 x5900 Asus Rog Crosshair iii formula
@datokonoko Yes, that is the correct way, good to see this.
Ok, but what is graphic card are you using ? (The most important information your your case here).
Did you write a wrong model there? AFAIK this Asus Rog Crosshair iii formula is an AM3 board, and I am not able to find an official support site like normally, which irritates me.
Maybe you mean a ROG Crosshair VIII Formula ?
@datokonoko Ok, these are the most information about your PC that I need to give you any assistance.
I donāt have any experience with hardware like this, what I can say is to recommend flash the newest BIOS, se the settings to CMS enabled and legacy boot enabled and install the newest driver for Windows 7 for your graphics card from today and remove your current driver with the Display Driver Uninstaller. And donāt install any dumb software like Avira, Driver Booster or similar. (Even though Driver Booster can be actually useful, I donāt like it, always use your browser, the device manager and your brain to get drivers and software working).
Hi,
I was able to successfully install Windows 7 using the drivers from this post on the following motherboard:
PRIME B450M GAMING BR
All drivers have been recognized in the device manager.
However I have blue screen only when I try to start with my video card connected in the pci slot (AMD RX580)
If I turn on the PC without the video card, using only the processorās apu the system starts normally ā¦
What can it be ? The blue screen happens right after the Windows boot flag, apparently with the error code:
0X000000A5
Bios Version: 2807
AMD AM4 AGESA V2 PI 1.2.0.0
If anyone can help me I will be grateful
EDIT: to be able to format and install the edited windows with the drivers here from the post, I had to boot my pendrive with the video card outside my pc
With the video card connected it was resulting in a blue screen
@vinisilv4 have you installed the latest Chipset drivers from AMD?
you can find them here
https://www.amd.com/en/support/chipsets/amd-socket-am4/b450
the graphics card drivers are found here
https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics/ā¦s/radeon-rx-580
i had a similar board (X470 and A320) and it was working with the internal APU (Bristol Ridge) and RX560 on Windows 7.
@PatrickK tried your Windows 7 SP2.11 beta and it came in handy as was trying to upgrade from 970 Evo Plus (on which i had Windows 7 already installed) to a 980 Pro NVME (and cloning back with Acronis True Image).
The Cloning was succesful but the image would not boot on the newer NVME, and i found out that the 980 Pro apparently has another Controller embedded, which would need another NVME Driver (the Generic Microsoft ones that come with Windows 10 it seems)
With your ISO i was able to install Windows 7 fresh onto the 980 Pro NVME disk , and after going back to a BIOS from 2019, was getting full PciE 4.0 speeds on a B450 Board (nice!);
problem arose then, with your image, as it would not let me install my printer driver (EPSON ET-4750), it would complain of missing SPOOLER Service, tried several times; after some time it was too much of a hassle and i went back to the 970 Evo Plus stable Windows 7 Setup;
Hopefully in the future soon i might be able to upgrade to a System with faster PCiE 4.0 or PciE 5.0 NVME, the speed convinced me.
@riku Sounds great, thanks for sharing your experiences with us, this gives me useful information for my developing process.
You should be able to just re-enable the spooler sevice, use the Windows start menu and its options or just serach for ādiensteā.
I like to disable everything I donāt need for myself, I really like it to see Windows 7 using less than 1GB of RAM, even on 64-bit an 8GB of RAM, but in the final ISOs this service will be started automatically, to avoid problems like you had.
@canonkong
Hi, Canonkong
I am currently using a 5900X and an Asus ProArt B550-CREATOR motherboard with a 970 Pro, 1080Ti.
Strangely, even loading your mod driver AMD_1.0.0.13_MOD_Win7 from the USB 2.0 port of the Asus ProArt B550-CREATOR board does not proceed with the Windows 7 installation.
However, you can install Windows 7 from the USB 3.0 port of the Asus ProArt B550-CREATOR board
But when I finish installing Windows 7 through the USB 3.0 port, the USB 2.0 port does not work.
ACPI-Compliant Driver, AULA LED Controller Driver also cannot be installed through your mod driver
Any advice on how to solve this problem would be appreciated.
@noctua2005 was just checking yesterday for boards, this one i noticed, should be anice one; but with Windows 7 you would loose Thunderbolt 4 or am i mistaken? That was the whole point of getting this MB in my idea, no need to buy a Thunderbolt-Add-inCard, but then again, the main thing would be continue using Windows 7 instead of Windows 10, so the Thunderbolt ports seem not activable for this task.
@riku
You are right If you are using Windows 7 on this motherboard, you cannot use Thunderbolt 4 Also, the built-in Thunderbolt 4 may be the biggest reason to buy this motherboard. I bought this because I liked the design of this motherboard and the way it cools the power and chipset parts without a separate cooling fan. However, I bought the X570 Dark Hero motherboard together in case I couldnāt use Windows 7 properly. However, I hope there is a solution to this problem if possible. Replacing the motherboard is so annoying
Hello,
I am fresh new here and was wondering how to upgrade my hardware while keeping the windows 7 install I have. It seems to be the correct topic to ask this question :
I have bought a MSI B450 gaming with a Ryzen 5 3600. Currently I am on a Gigabyte H87 with an i5-4570. My goal would be change the MB, CPU and RAM but keep the current SSD where the windows 7 is installed. From what I read there, you put modifed drivers in a new install, but how to do that for an already installed seven ? I was thinking I should put the modified driver into the current windows, then shut down and change the hardware, but it seems too easy right ? Thank you to anyone answering as I have trouble figuring what to do.
Its the right way. Some USB Ports should work. For die other use the modified USB Drivers from canonkong.
