Need Help BIOS Mod T7610 bifurcation and PCIe boot (optional)

Hello everyone ,

New here, first post.
Sorry if I’m not in the right place to post.

I will need explanation on Pci Bifurcation and other mods.

My configs:
1: Dell T7610 (no boot ahci / nvme (ok clover) / no bifurcation)
2 x Xeon 2650V2
256G ° RAM DDR3 ECC 14900

2: Fujitsu Celsuis R940 (no boot ahci / nvme (clover ok) / bifurcation ok)
2x Xeon 2650v3
192GB DDR4 2133 ECC
(I look to add the boot, I’ll open another post for that one).

And as a bonus to put in the T7610 , QUAD NVMe DELL cards

in stock 3 cards and 12 X 256GB Samsung NVMe PM961

58639089_420021018825757_4343621999789080576_n.jpg

.

The ideal will be in raid for my personal use and an NVMe formatting bay for my work.
But I’ll see later. Already if the bios could see them it would be good.

I extracted both chips with a programmer. I attach the files

Should you put together the 2 files where each one has different roles?
Add the X4x4x4x4 bifurcation on this machine is it possible?

I must continue to read the various explanations on the forum to understand how to do.
Thank you for help.

25L3206.rar (1.85 MB)

25L6406E.rar (4.18 MB)

Oh,you have the SPI programmer!!!
just the 3206.bin is OK! You could add the nvme module in it!

I had done this for you.hope your feedback~~~

233.rar (1.88 MB)

Thank you very much, I’m testing this live this morning.
Thanks again

Here after testing, it’s perfect, it works perfectly.
It’s really cool of you to help me.

For the bifurcation, it’s possible on this model or need PLX chips for 4 * 4X instead of X16

I add the bios of a 7810 read programmer, if it can serve you.

(T7810 Boot and Bifurcation ok in native)

Thanks

T7810.part1.rar (3 MB)

T7810.part2.rar (3 MB)

T7810.part3.rar (167 KB)

@Maxpower
There are abundent PCIE lanes in the CPU that you should not consider the 4x4x4x4 spliter.(forgive my poor english)

Could you post the picture of T7610 launch list? I want to see how the nvme SSD show.

@Maxpower
I have done
http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=91574304913106363950

try it and I look forward to your feedback
post the launch list picture~~~
T7810 may not use your programmer,and it even just use some software to flash well~

@Maxpower
Sorry I just see the pic your show in the title!!!
Did the bifurcation of the 4 nvme SSD run well? I don’t think the bifurcation has PLX chip,because the card just incharge pcie lane splitering.
And did you just install the system in one of the four?
I imagine that it would show 4 pata ss in the lauch list~haha

For the moment,
i just test with adapter for only 1 NVME for now.

For redirection, Your mod file is for T7810? or T7610 too?
I am at work for now, I test this afternoon with full quad nvme.

I have a lot of machine available, if necessary for tests or other bios if need.
Do not hesitate to ask.

It’s T7810.
and I wonder how you extract the bios by the programmer? Did you need to remove the bios chip or use the clip to link with the bios chip and programmer???

Yes ,Desolder chip and read programer .no clip

@gloobox
I can use the mod file in any T7610 or better work on the original of each machine?

Serial, UUID, MAC Address etc… Are In the 25L64?

Nouvelle image bitmap.jpg

The bios versions are not identical .
A03 and A16,

I think it’s not a great idea to just replace the contents of a single eprom(25l32) . It would be better to work on the original file.

At home and I have to work on another T7610

About bios version,you can upgrade your bios to the newest version first.

About whether the 25l32 bios contains serial, UUID, MAC Address etc… This question I think @Lost_N_BIOS could help you.
For me,I think something information would be contain in the bios.So I suggest you’d better extract it by the programmer.

Another dump of T7610 A16 25L32

If you can do the mod on this dump, I test with Quad Nvme.

The files are too different between the two dump A03 and A16 (+ 90% difference), I do not take the risk.
If I compare your mod, I just see that you add a whole part at the end of the dump on a free space.

What software do you use to extract and inject the module or driver.
I do not know what you call it.

thanks

25L32 ORI T7610 MxP.rar (1.9 MB)

Here is the bios modded.By the way ,this bios you gave me is A16??

25L32 ORI T7610 MxP.rar (1.92 MB)

if I compare, I notice that you change the same values with an offset in the bios.

And I find these values in UEFI tools in a Pad-file and in the DXE Driver of the mod.

But how to know the location before? A search with "DXE" in UEFI Tools before modification finds nothing.

I’m trying the dump, I wanted to compare before :wink:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry it’s A17 bios
I thought I had A16 in that one.

Nvme driver ok, it’s good in bios except that it sees only 2 and there are 8 in PC (see photo).

@Maxpower
Where did you buy the bifurcation card?I don’t think it is the original accessory of the this machine.
Generally,if you want four nvme ssds in bifurcation card can be showed in PC,the bifurcation card must match the particular matherboard.so it’s very common your machine could just show one ssd per bifurcation card.

hello ,@gloobox
It’s not original accessory for T7610 .it’s for T5810/7810/7910 etc …

Already test in T7810 and T5810, it works perfectly, he sees the 4 discs per card. And also in other PCs that accepts the bifurcation in native (Ex: My fujitsu R940 (bifurcation ok, no boot)

I also tested in @JackSted 's P9x79 bifurcation mod but the bios only sees 2 disks instead of 4.
[GUIDE] Adding Bifurcation Support to ASUS X79 UEFI BIOS

Yes,these type of bifurcation cards are kind of picky that only bringing into full play on particular machine(original accessory of the machine)
Btw,how your T7810 runs after flashing my modded bios?
And I am fascinated by your fujitsu R940 too`haha

I have no mod the T7810,
Only reading dump bios for donate to other forum members if needed.

@gloobox
Yes The R940 is really nice, not enough Pcie X16 for Quad Nvme or K6000, must choose;)

Would any of you be willing to perform this mod on a 7610 for me if I send you the motherboard? Obviously I have no issue paying for your services. I am located in the US.
