I have isolated the processor pin according to the picture (red and blue). but when I turn on the power, the processor fan only spins for a while then turns off.
I already used AIO tools and Coffetime and chose U0 as the processor to be installed.
is there anything missing?
@hasandoel2 It could be that ME wasnāt downgraded - can you check with another CPU what is actually on the motherboard?
Can you also upload a picture of your padmod on the CPU?
iām using 9100f B0 (bios f24 mod to B0) its work.
but iāll try to another board with only 2 pinmod.

Big thanks for this mod tool! I think modding the bios and the cpu went fine. Except I canāt seem to downgrade my ME

My config: Asus Prime z270-p
8700k
I flashed the bios with AFUWIN64 tool v3.05.04 and the /GAN option.
All is ok as it boots fine with my old CPU and I confirmed the new bios is in. The only thing is it didnāt downgrade the ME version.
So I tried flashing again with the same procedure, but now shorting the ALC887 pin1 and pin5 during bios boot. But no luck either. Should I flash the ME separately with another tool?
The MAXIMUS_IX_EXTREME has a bios flash button so do i need to bypass any chips or can i just mod the right version and have it flash the bios for me? If i need to do something extra what would it be?
Also for the CPU isolation and short whats the best way to go about that?
@sander81 - To do pinmod see section āE.1ā here, if you have not already (doing the pinmod itself is only one part of the process and only is in effect for that one boot)

After doing pinmod and booting, once in windows see spoiler of above linked page, spoiler #2 >> image #2
Dump FD >> FPTw.exe -desc -d fd.bin
Unlock it per spoiiler #2 / Image #2 discussed above
Then reflash >> FPTw.exe -desc -f fd.bin
Then, reboot, once back in windows flash ME region only from your modified BIOS >> FPTw.exe -me -f filename.bin
Get V11 ME System Tools package here, so you are using the correct FPT version.

FPT must be ran from Admin CMD Prompt, or DOS (not Powershell)
Once downloaded, inside you will find Flash Programming Tool folder, and inside that a Win32 folder.
Select that Win32 folder, hold shift and press right click, choose open command window here (Not power shell).
If you are stuck on Win10 and cannot easily get command prompt, and method I mentioned above does not work for you, here is some links that should help
Or, copy all contents from the Flash Programming Tool \ DOS folder to the root of a USB Bootable disk and do the dump from DOS (FPT.exe -bios -d biosreg.bin)

@TechNaOkami : You will not have to look for any special tools as Asusā flashback will try to write whatever you ask for. But it cannot bypass locked regions, so if your FD your ME are blocked you will have to try codec mod or get an external flasher like everyone else. So far Asus 100/200 series seems to be pretty mixed regarding locked/unlocker so you will have to check for yourself.
Updated my microcode to the latest D2 for Coffeelake. Havenāt had any problems and like I mentioned previously the CPU no longer has a 100Mhz AVX offset on my Z170 Maximus VIII Formula board.

@life23vn - You need to have flash programmer (like CH341A + U Type Flat IC Extractor - chip puller), or do pinmod (See āE.1ā, then section B spoiler #2, image 1-2) to unlock FD, before you can use Coffee CPU

I made the MOD for the Asus H110M-K card with the i5-9600kf processor. The card turned on, but when it starts to start Windows, it hangs on the Windows logo. can anybody help me?

@life23vn - If your mod BIOS contains different FD or ME (compare both regions in hex) than original BIOS contents then No, if not then possibly Yes. What is your current ME FW version, and what version is in your mod BIOS?
If you do not have flash programmer, order one + BIOS extractor or SOIC8 clip+Cable if BIOS soldered to board, then wait until it arrives, otherwise if BIOS = brick and wont work with your old CPU then you will be out of luck and have to wait until programmer arrives.
